Works great
For medical reasons, I had to switch from a chest strap (Polar) to a wrist strap HRM, and bought this. It works just fine. It connects to my cell phone app every time and appears to be accurate. If you've ever used a chest strap HRM, every once in a while, you need to wet the space between the strap and your skin. With this device, I've never had to do anything to make the heart rate register on my app.

Very nice, pairs easily
So far great unit. Paired to both my Peloton and my Garmin Vivio 3 no problem. So nice to not wear the chest strap. I don't have to sinch it too tight on my arm to get a good read, very comfortable. Seems to be accurate. Wish it had a standard mini USB charger. It has it's own specific charger, just another charger to lug around and lose. Easy on/off switch with good led indicator. You do not need to use their APP to make it work or setup, just charge it, pair it and go. Their APP is needed to update the firmware though if needed, also needed if you don't have something that reads it already, i.e. smartwatch, bike computer etc. Go find your Zone!!!!!

Great upgrade
I bought this wahoo tickr to replace my old chest strap style wahoo hrm that i use with DDPYOGA. This thing is much better than the old style. Super comfortable on my upper forearm and its definitely way more accurate. The older version used to just stay on one number and id practically give myself a heart attack trying to get my heart rate up. This one changes with exactly how im feeling exerting energy and breathing. Highly recommend it.

Wahoo is a great company
My TICKR stopped working after a month and I contacted Wahoo customer support and they replaced it quickly. I love this HR monitor since it goes around your forearm. I hate traditional HR monitors since the go around your sternum...which gives me the heebie jeebies and my sports bra always competes with it...like a real elastic showdown. When I get on my trainer it's easy just to slip on and go. 10/10 recommend.

Yeah the band is junk, but tech is solid
Ok, i read the reviews where people said the band crapped out on them, well i figured i would take a chance due to the price being reasonable and it does everything i need. The band started giving out 2 days before the return window closed, and then 6 hours before the 30 days was up the velcro piece came unglued. They include another band but it is much smaller and wont fit my arm. The pros: super easy to turn on and off, battery life is excellent, connects perfectly to my phone and the app, neat little charger that connects super easy. Is pretty darn accurate and stays connected. Hardly know it is on your arm. Band is comfortable, but not durable. Great product but i don't understand why they cheap out on the band? Include another? That isn't a solution either. Then you have two garbage bands. After market bands appear to be the same quality. I returned mine and had them send me another. I must be a glutton for punishment? More to come when i get my next one Thursday. UPDATE: I returned the 2nd one as the band failed again. For what this item is and the price is it is not worth the headache of dealing with the band. You can get a simple wrist heart rate monitor for a lot less than this item. Sorry, I wanted to like this item but I just cant.

Very satisfied, we use them every day
I did a lot of research before buying 2 of the Wahoo Ticker Fits for myself and my wife. Turns out nearly all of the negative reviews we read about had an easy fix. A little trial and error in where to place the sensor on your body goes a long ways in eliminating dropouts and false readings. Experiment with Bluetooth connectivity with your phone, especially when bike riding, keep the distance short. I wear mine just below my shoulder when cycling and on the same side as my phone carrier. Also, do NOT use any sunscreen or lotion! With a little common sense these are exceptional HRM's that work very well. The batteries last a really long time and are easily charged with the magnetic USB clip, remaining charge is shown on the app. The factory App is basic, which I like, yet shows all of the important stuff. It has a wide variety of named workout routines, including cycling and skiing, and the ability to modify or easily create your own named routine. After imputing personal stats it auto-computes your personal heart rate ranges and calories burned, along with easy to read graphs that track each other. On our bike rides we get a detailed map of our route with elevation, speed, and heart rate graphs. Additional pages of collected data can be added at will. The stationary workout routines of course do not show mileage or elevation and are tailored to the workout you choose, all of which are saved in history and easily retrieved or deleted. Linking is easy to a plethora of fitness apps. I personally just use the factory app, but my wife links to Google Fit. Cleaning is easy with mild soap and water as the sensor is waterproof with no battery doors. I had heard how flimsy the band was, really? Its a soft Velcro band that is very comfortable and after a month of daily use and a few cleanings I see no signs of visible wear. That said, it is not stainless steel or hard plastic which would no doubt last longer at the price of comfort. I think the band is a non issue, when and if I wear it out I'll just replace it, to me comfort is more important than extreme longevity. Bottom line is we are extremely satisfied and glad we did not listen to some of the bad reviews or get a wrist watch or the chest strap type. Is it perfect? No, and you will need to experiment a little to get your personal 'sweet spot' for where to place it on your body. After that it will perform very well. We use them daily!

Works, but App is sub par
So it does it's job, but the app is sub par. For example, it won't tell you the time stamp when you scroll through your bpm's. So you have to guess where you were in your workout when that spike or dip happened. Second, it doesn't track bpm unless you have a workout mode turned on. So I can't wear it and check my bpm through the day. Third, it feels more like it was designed by marketing than by an engineer concerned about providing data for the user. I wish they had a streamlined simple app that just told you what you want to know.

Reliable accurate and easy to use
I bought this to use on a Peloton bike and it works really well. It's easy and comfortable to wear and I find it almost as accurate as a chest strap. Not quite as responsive, but much easier to use. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time between charges and I haven't had any problems after six months of regular use. I occasionally use this monitor for running along with the free Wahoo Fitness app. It works well and is a reliable basic fitness app.

Accuracy isn’t 100% but I prefer it over a chest strap
The only downside to this product - as mentioned by other users - is that there sometimes is a lag to HR changes which leads to inaccuracies. I haven’t had this lag on runs, but on any cardio / strength workouts it can be up to 2 minutes. HOWEVER - I still prefer this to a chest strap and despite owing two different (and very accurate) chest straps I only use this one now. Reasons behind this being - it’s much faster to put on, it’s so comfortable you don’t even notice it, the lag doesn’t happen all the time and I am happy o sacrifice 20 calories counted for the comfort of the strap. I love the fact that it is rechargeable and it comes with two separate straps. I’ve had no issues with the straps either - they seem durable and good quality. I’d recommend this over a chest strap unless you are hyper-OCD over accuracy

Doesn't pair via bluetooth under Windows 10, ANT+ works well
Summary: Don't buy if you need to pair with a Windows 10 PC via bluetooth. Works well if you also buy an ANT+ dongle. Details: After going backwards and forwards with Wahoo Fitness support, and getting a replacement TICKR, the final result is that it won't pair with current Windows 10 devices using bluetooth (tested with two TICKR FITs, on two different machines), "since a recent Windows 10 update" (support didn't specify which), and they recommend using ANT+ instead. For a desktop PC, this means you'll have to also purchase an ANT+ dongle. In the same order, I also bought aCooSpo armband heart rate monitor , which DOES pair with both of my Windows 10 machines via bluetooth - unfortunately it frequently loses the connection and as such is not recommended. However, CooSpo also sell aUSB ANT+ dongle , which works very well with the TICKR (my dongle is an older verison and much larger, but has the same ASIN). The caveat is that your software will have to explicitly support ANT+. In my case, I was using open source software called "Cardia" (available on Github), which cannot speak the ANT+ protocol; I have switched to the non-free "Pulse Monitor" which has so far worked perfectly with the TICKR - not a single disconnection. With both the CooSpo HRM and the Wahoo TICKR, over both bluetooth and ANT, there is a good five to ten second lag between what is shown as your heart rate and your actual heart rate. This may not be a problem for you, but it is quite annoying for me. The TICKR feels reasonably solid, easy to clean with an iso-wipe, and the strap has not degenerated yet (in other reviews Wahoo say they have fixed this), and even then there is a spare included in the box. The charging cable requires you to plug it in via USB, and is a magnetic disc that prevents you from mis-connecting it to the TICKR. The connection between the two is quite solid. I have only connected it to an Android device in order to run the Wahoo Utility and check for a firmware update - as of now, the current firmware is 1.0.13. Note that you NEED to grant the "location" permission in order for the app to function and be able to see the TICKR. I have not used the Wahoo Fitness Workout Tracker except as a troubleshooting step to verify the hardware wasn't broken.

Links quickly & comfortable to wear
Links quickly with my Wattbike atom, and much more comfortable & convenient than the chest strap I used before. Some reviewers mentioned slow response times, but I have not had any problems with mine. I usually wear my Garmin watch as well whilst training, and the Heart rate readings are similar, so I guess it is pretty accurate. Magnetic Charger is great too, really easy to use, charges quickly, and the charge lasts for several rides without any problems

The Best HR Sensor EVER!
So much better than the sweaty under-moob chest straps that are more commonly available. Easy to slip on to the forearm, battery life is great. I’d say my only criticism is that the charging dock is dedicated for use by this device, so DON’T LOSE IT! Its USB so no problem finding somewhere to plug that in these days. Comes with a spare strap which i’ve not had to use yet. Cost is up there but its a quality bit of kit. I think you should treat yourself to the best ????????
