Great for sauces and soups smaller pots.
I wanted a silicone spoon for sauces and soups boiling in smaller pots. The usual length silicone spoons tilt out of the pots and splashes sauces on my electric stove. These are a great length, and they are silicone so heat resistant. If I could change anything, I would like them a tad longer (maybe 1/2 to 1 inch). I continue to look for them on Amazon but they seem always out of stock.

Yes, it's small, but useful.
It's about the size of a large Tablespoon on steroids . . . kinda bulky and not exactly the basting spoon I thought it was going to be, but it makes an excellent tasting spoon and a portable soup spoon for soup/stew lunches, better than the tiny plastic or steel spoons provided with thermoses. It's easy to clean and aesthetically pleasing. It's a nice tool for the arsenal and well-manufactured.

Exact Size, Dimensions and Texture
The photos tell it all. The spoon bowl holds exactly one tablespoon of liquid. The spoon bowl is exactly 1 and 3/4 inches wide. The entire spoon (handle and bowl) is exactly 7 and 15/16 inches long. The pic with 5 spoons (from left to right): A standard stainless teaspoon A standard stainless tablespoon "The blue spoon" Small black nylon cooking spoon (my most used spoon) Standard sized black nylon cooking spoon "The blue spoon" is soft but not flimsy. It is not like a thin, cheap silicone spoon you'd get at Walmart but it is not stiff like a nylon spoon either. So it doesn't bend much but it's not brittle either. It is thick and heavy weight, even though it's small. Size wise, it resembles a small, thick wooden spoon. It is good for stirring something in a small 2 quart sauce pan or a small frying pan, but nothing deeper or wider than that. It's too short to stir something in a 64 oz mixing cup because you'd get the mixture on your stirring hand. It is "perfect" for taste testing something very hot or very cold because it fits in your mouth and it does not conduct heat or cold. I feel the price is high for it's size, even though it is excellent quality. But I'll keep it and probably use it only for taste testing hot items from the pot when I'm cooking. My small 9 and 1/2 inch black nylon spoon is perfect for everything else.

Fun, more useful size than I would have thought!
I wasn't really paying attention to the size of this when I ordered it. It really is "Mini." At first when I pulled it out of the package I thought - what am I supposed to do with this? But as I've used it, it's pretty cool. I end up cooking for just one person often so when I make small portions of things, this works well. I also like the quality of the material - you can use it as a spoon to stir or scoop (again, small portions) or as a bit of a "scraper" for the pan or bowl. It's just kind of fun. I actually have already purchased another one!

Not 9"
Decent spoon, well-made, 7 1/2 inches long. Not sure what I'll use it for. I may order their 11" spoon, on the theory that it will be 9 1/2 inches long...

It was smaller than I expected, almost like a little kids spoon rather than something to use for cooking. For an upscale brand, the name was not imprinted on the spoon, it's like a no-name product. Definitely not worth the cost, over priced.
