My New “Go To” Grill Tool
I have been pretty unhappy with the grill spatulas (or turners as this is called), like those they typically sell at home improvement and hardware stores. Most of them are created to be multi-tools that do a lot of things, which means they are generally poor at doing the one thing you need - a firm, spatula that’s can get under food so you can control them on the grill or even in a large cast iron skillet. I was getting really tired of getting grill utensils that just pushed food around. So, I gave this a try. I have been using this for about a month, pretty steady. I have grilled most everything from steaks, burgers, fish, to vegetables. This has become my “go to” grill utensil. I will say that for use on the grill, this handle is a bit on the shorter side. My grill is not that big, so for me it works perfectly. I haven’t burnt myself and find that because it does its job so well, I don’t have to spend a lot of time working over the hot parts of the grill anyway. The metal itself is actually quite thick for a spatula, which is one thing I really like about it. My hope was that it was firm, yet had a slight flex to it, not a lot but just enough. This one definitely met my expectations. The metal is a bit thicker than most spatula’s (er…grill turners) and I like it that way. Some people may like it to be a bit more pliable, but I tend to also use it as a quick cutting or separation tool, so I want it pretty firm. All around, I really found this to be a great tool. If I were to pick at one thing, I would have liked a slightly nicer handle. This one works fine, but it reminds me of my grandmothers old Cutco knives that have wood handles attached with rivets. It’s fine though, more of an aesthetic desire than anything else. My concern was that over time (a long time typically), the rivets could start to get loose. These seem pretty tight right now, so it might not be something I should concern myself with. All around, I give this a good recommendation for anyone that shares my preferences for a grill spatula.

Solid Grill Turner
Note: There are multiple products attached to this listing. I am specifically writing this review for the triple rivet grill turner. I have had mixed results with Farberware utensils and cookware. Some of their products have been solid while other stuff of theirs I have used has been at or below store-brand generic quality. I was hopeful that this grill turner would be on the higher end of the scale, and fortunately that paid off for me. This is a fine kitchen utensil that will see much use in my house. This turner is made quite well. It is solid and heavy and does not flex much when pressing down on something like a burger (though you shouldn’t do that to a burger). It’s a solid, thick piece of steel with three rivets. The handle is some sort of plastic; I thought it was a resin of some kind and had to look it up. The end is tapered nicely though not sharp and is sufficient for getting a little extra leverage under something being grilled. The flat portion is the heavy part and when the turner is set on the counter it lays flat, and if you press the handle to the counter and let go it rights itself again. My primary use for this is in a cast iron skillet, turning English muffins of all things. It is the perfect size for working with the muffins during cooking and it is heavy and solid enough to give me much-needed balance and leverage. That said, it works well on the grill, but the handle is on the short side so wear a glove. This is a decent and well-made grill turner. It seems to be made well and it’s nice and heavy. Some thought went into the design. And, it’s not terribly expensive either. If you need a grill turner, this is one worth consideration.

It rusted!
I got this because I trusted the name "Farberware". I have had Farberware pans for many, many years and they endure. This turner is made well. It has a sturdy handle and thick metal plate for turning. The handle has a hole so you can hang it. It works well for hamburgers and steaks. I put this in the dishwasher after using and it rusted! It's still usable. But it was very disappointing for a name that I trusted.

Sturdy Restaurant-Style Spatula
This is a sturdy, diner-style long spatula, great for turning hamburgers or other long items on a grill or griddle, or for making fried rice. Handy and dishwasher safe, this feels pretty good in your hand—has a good bit of heft to it—though I do wish the handle was a bit more ergonomic.

Decent Barbecue Turner
Sturdy grill accessory but it is not as big as the black stone turners.

Nice but the handle is a bit tiny
Well made, sturdy spatula. I and a huge Blackstone griddle user and this is perfect. My pet peeve is that point where the spatula comes out of the handle being too easily bent. This unit is a nice thin spatula and there is not too much flex out of that point where it meets the handle. I love the material of the handle, but wish is was a tad wider.
