Nice watercolor pencil set for beginner or young person

My 11 year old enjoyed using these pencils. The pencils include a nice range of colors, sharpen well, and produce even colors. We used a water brush to complete our work. The bag that is included has room for these pencils, the sharpener and spritzing bottle, as well as any other small supplies that we want to add.

Nice pencils, mediocre bag

As you'd expect from a name brand like Faber-Castell, the pencils are high quality and work exactly as promised. The small bottle is good for misting a watercolor wash, and I appreciate it comes with a good pencil sharpener. I was less enamored with the bag. The bag it comes packaged in has a nice clip and has extra room to expand to additional pencils. But it's padded with a huge amount of foam inside, and once you discard it and open the pencils' packaging, there's no way to neatly store them inside - they just rattle around in a giant cavity. It would be nice to have a roll or some other method of keeping the pencils organized. It would have been nice to get a few more quality-of-life items that would round out this set and make it truly a good kit for being creative on the go. A small pop-up dish or other type of dipping dish would be helpful, as the spritz is only useful for creating a wash. I also think some more brushes would have been helpful - either a duplicate of the existing brush or another in a different width. Another note: this kit does not include a black pencil, which seems like an odd omission.

Bag is cheap looking!

The pencils here work well enough, but the bag design and overall style is cheapy made and looks it!

Nice set of watercolor pencils, roomy pouch, includes sharpener

This is a nice set of watercolor pencils that comes in a very roomy pouch, allowing for the addition of more pencils or other items with ease. The pencils are high quality and the coloring is fantastic. The brush is decent, but only one is included. I am always a bit paranoid when having liquids around, so I put the water bottle in a Ziplock baggie. I am not sure if the value is good or not, but the quality of the pencils is good. The sharpener seems a bit on the cheap side, but it worked without any issues.

Decent First Time Set

I like all the accessories that it comes with, paint brush, pencil sharpener, squirt bottle, and carrying case. The brush comes stiff so you have to get it wet and make it usable. In my opinion, I do not think that the colors are overly "vibrant". It is fun to blend colors and paint. Great for first set or even good for children.

On The Go Watercolor Set

I'm fairly new to the world of watercolor, so this has been a great introductory set for me. It includes a nice assortment of colors, a brush, a spray bottle, sharpener, and travel pouch. The pouch had plenty of room inside if I ever decided to add more colors or brushes. It also features a convenient clip that allows you to attach it to a bag, backpack, or purse. The quality is good, and I feel like it provides all the essentials for someone just getting started. The colors are vibrant and the shades are diverse enough, that I feel equipped to tackle a variety of colorful scenes and subjects.

TLDR: Gotta love these cool colored pencils and super fun case! This brand has great quality products, and this one is also great :) The pencils draw smoothly and have vibrant colors, plus being able to spritz water or add water to the paint brush for some cool affects is really nice! The bag is super cute, with popping colors and a really neat design! It is big though, but I feel they designed it this way so you can add some of your own art supplies to make your own little set for traveling. I love this set and think it’s a great purchase for decent quality art materials :)
