Excellent bulb but pricey
Works excellent and does what it should. A little pricey though. Best bulb out there though. You get what you pay for.

My lizard likes it!
I heard that these were dangerous for reptiles.. Im no professional here, but I have owned 3 lizards in my life, and have never had any problems with this light My lizard loves it! My bearded dragon elmer sometimes got into these funky mood swings, where he would depressed, he wouldnt eat, or move all that much. He showed no physical signs of illness, and even after talking to a few experts around my area, they said that he could just be in hibernation, or isnt getting enough of the UV light. I bought two of these, and within a week he had all the energy he used to, started eating again, and overall seemed much more attentive, alert, and overall just happy. He's kindof a grumpy lizard... but I think these lights are wonderful, and have helped him be happy :)

Great UVB Bulb
After many weeks of research I decided to purchase the exo terra bulbs for use on my psoriasis. My first few days, it felt like my psoriasis was getting worse, but then a miracle. The swelling was down, and my psoriasis has begun receding. I don't think it will get rid of it all together, but makes it much more manageable. I can go days without using coal tar now, instead of using it 4 times a day. Might buy a higher intensity bulb next time, but it has been great so far. *TIP* uvb levels are lower than medical bulb. start treatment with 2 days for 30 minutes each, then 1 day off. REPEAT Dont skip days or you wont see improvement.

All the Exo-Terra UVB’s have been defective.... went back to Reptisun
I’ve always used Reptisun bulbs but a while back, I decided try Exo Terra’s bulb after reading about their new line of UVB lights on their website. For that previous build, I ordered a 26 watt UVB 100 bulb (formerly sold as Repti Glo 5.0 per the label) and a 26 watt Natural Light (formerly Repti Glo 2.0) but while the Natural Light fired right up (and I am quite happy with it), the UVB was dead on arrival. The UVB100 was replaced twice by Amazon but both of those were defective, too– only 1 of the coils lit.... the others were dead; so, I returned to Reptisun lights. For this latest terrarium build, I needed a 13w 10.0 Desert lamp (aka UVB150 which is the old Repti-Glo 10.0). I checked prices and as Exo-Terra bulbs were half the price of the Reptisun at the time, I decided to try one. I was hoping to get lucky and that the issue was only with the tropical bulbs (UVB100), so I ordered one– but, again, I received a defective bulb (only the first coil lights up, the others are dead). I’m not going to request a replacement this time – I went down that road before – but, instead, I’ll go ahead and pay the extra for Reptisun so I get a bulb that I know will work. Outside of the UVB line, I use Exo-Terra lamps exclusively and it appears that it is just their newly designed UVB’s that are problematic (I’m 4 for 4 in terms of bad bulbs); however, the Natural Light bulb which is the old Repti-Glo 2.0 work well. For comparison purposes, I’ve now purchased approximately 2 dozen Reptisuns through Amazon, and only two have had issues– both which came bundled with a fixture. The last time, I contacted ZooMed and they immediately replaced the bulb so I cannot complain. It’s a shame as the Exo-Terra line looked promising but I’ll only purchase Reptisun bulbs from here on out. I’ve included some photos (UVB100 aka Repti-Glo 5.0, UVB150 aka Repti-Glo 10.0, Natural Light aka Repti-Glo 2.0 and a Reptisun 13w mini cf) for comparison. UPDATE: Ordered the Reptisun and it arrived fully functional. Not sure why Exo-Terra is having such an issue with theirs

Pretty good price.
Amazon to the rescue. Had everything packed for a move that still hasn’t happened. The light burnt out and I went to the pet store to get a new one. One bulb costs so much. Found it on amazon and prime- much better price.

Good and cheap
I've recently bought this bulb and it is working well for the time I've used it. I will update in a few months to see if it lasts.

My beardy is happy.
I am pleased with the compact lamp. It didn't take long for it to arrive. My beardy seems happy enough and she is jumping around with her tail up in the air.
