I’m obsessed with bags.
My usage: work bag (computer, tablet, pens/paper), dad duties (toys, diapers, snacks), amateur photographer (camera, lenses) My quirk: I’m addicted to bags. I buy many, use one & hoard the rest. It’s caused quite the stir in my marriage but she knew what she was getting in to. I’ve been eyeballing the Everki line of bags for the better part of 2 years. I told my wife that if she was cool with me buying one, I’d get rid of TWO other bags that weren’t getting used. She agreed. Lord gave mercy, was that a mistake / I’m about to buy every bag this company sells. This Atlas bag features high quality materials. Something I immediately noticed. Usually that translates to meaning difficult to use. Stiff materials or over engineered zippers that are cumbersome. Not here. Quality materials, but light. Fluid. Think NASA. I was trying to hold off on leaving a review for this bag until I’ve had a month or two of usage. This awesomeness of this bag is so profound… I couldn’t wait. Get it. Don’t waste 2 years contemplating like I did. Life is short. Buy Everki and live it. (I didn’t get a free bag for this review- I bought mine… it’s really that good. I’m not saying we’d name our next child Everki, but I can’t say we wouldn’t either)

Good bag - own two from Everki
In a day and age when you can find nearly anything you want, you sometimes run into a gem amidst the total crap that surrounds it. I have personally looked for a new bag for months while being disgusted with the quality, configurations, material and otherwise lackluster choices made when designing some of these other products. This bag is fantastic. Not perfect, but it is looking very promising after a very close inspection. This review is initial and I will update it as it gets some wear on it. - The first thing you notice is the quality of the fabric; not only does it feel sturdy but it can be said that it is a bit sexy as well with the design print in the front. - Second you notice the quality of the zippers when you start unpacking this thing, opening it up. I have had a lot of bags and these are nice. I do not get that impression or fear you get with others, wondering when they will break. - After opening all the pockets, you see a nice selection of partitioned spaces. The bag I last bought for my programmer (a large HP ENVY 17) was also from here, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00507NAYQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1. This is a rather popular Targus bag that already has a rip in it from 1 year of use when I hardly move the bag from where it sits. The bag slouches heavily when not zippered anywhere and the organization is terrible compared to this bag. - The orange colored interior is very nice but I didn't get the bag for flash, I bought it for quality. The orange does however allow you to see better where things are against the black color of the outer shell. - The laptop compartment is really neat for making sure the laptop is snug and not moving around. This is the first bag I have seen this on. Once you set the size, you do not have to do anything more than slide it in. Nicely lined pocket, easy to secure. - I just bought an Everki Titan a few weeks ago and the quality is there, but this is a smaller bag. One thing I noticed was that the pouches do not all open up a lot; you have to run the zipper down and then tug the pouch top out a bit to get it open. Not the end of the world and maybe that will loosen up a bit in time. - The larger section is just huge for whatever you would need until you try carrying part of your home along. Bigger things like game systems and external electronics that take some space will eat that pocket up. I am using this for business and have plenty of room for everything. I attached some pics of everything I threw in there and have actually throw some more in after. Can't use it if you don't have it with you. I do not travel by air much anymore so I cannot comment about under the seat storage. By the size of this, i am pretty sure it will fit just fine in the CRJ or Embraer that are still being used by some. Anything bigger is cake. - I did notice a couple things that just irked me a bit but did not make me trash the joint - The front pocket on top does not have any kind of closing mechanism; this pouch is open on the top and although it is pretty deep, if you stack anything that is rather tall, you do have a chance of it hanging right out the top and losing something. If there is not enough pressure to keep the contents smashed in and the bag tips, so may your things. You could argue that if it doesn't fit, don't put it in. That is my thinking but if they just put some quick release strap or even Velcro on the inside to hold it closed, the point would be moot. - There is no real dedicated document slot unless you call that inner zippered see through pouch the document pouch. In what I would consider the "business area" with you cards, pens and such, there is a small square there to hold who knows what. I threw in some very needed guitar picks (just never know), a couple thumb drives, SD cards and a micro adapter. I would rather have had a nice larger square for the passport, tickets and so forth. This is preference but for someone who traveled the airways for 17 years every week, that just makes sense. I am not taking a star away for anything I didn't care for because of the shear fact of how much better this bag is constructed than any bag I have had and ALL bags have had something that either didn't make sense or was not perfect. Yes, it costs more money. If you would rather have quality than quantity, I believe this is the bag. I have another and the quality is there on the titan as well. Some companies just make better stuff. Update 9/11/2019: This bag is still the beast it was when I bought it. Under inspection, I see a very minor stretch under the left strap. This is because I use this strap every single time i grab the bag, which is every single work day into the office or job site depending, and back. Absolutely the best bag i have ever owned. The small irks are still exactly the same. The front pouch that is open; I hardly use it because I do not want to keep track of the possibility of dropping something. If it is small that can dive to the bottom of the pocket, I throw it in. The zippered pocket behind is the same as well. Fully unzipped, it doesn't really open up a ton but you can still see everything and place and take items without issue. I am guessing after all this time that this close configuration is part of what makes this bag stand up to time. I can still open up every single zipper in this thing and the bag stands up. Obviously if you have a weight shift ratio to one side, i am sure you can get it to fall. Straps are in excellent condition for the use of the bag. I might buy stock in Everki as quality matters that much to me.

Spacious and sturdy
Our initial requirement was for a 17" gaming laptop. Needed a laptop for creating/processing 3D images so we went with Aorus by Gigabyte (thanks CUK!). The laptop was 15.6" long x 10" wide with a screen of 17.3" (for those that didn't know they measure diagonally to get that measurement). The laptop fit perfectly. The velcro felt pocket was nice, but most likely will not be using the velcro often, just slide in and out. The second requirement we had was to fit the trusty 40oz single-walled (non-insulated) water bottle. As you can see in the picture, it just fit. An insulated 40oz will probably not fit. Currently, the bag holds a 13" laptop, the 17" laptop, a tablet, and all accessories easily with room to spare. Added clothes, a book, and a bulletproof (level IIIa) sleeve and the pack comes weighing at just over 25lbs. The stitching is good and seems to handle the weight with no issue. On the shoulder straps, there are straps at the top to cinch the backpack closer to the back for a more comfortable carry.

Great for big gaming laptops
I have a thick gaming laptop with a large screen and it fits snuggly in the backpack. Padded enough where I’m not worrying so much about my laptop when I travel. Very comfortable as well. The orange liner makes finding small objects in the backpack really easy. I think this is pretty well made.

Back pack
Needed a backpack that could protect my computer and all its accessories and be easy and comfortable to use. This backpack checks all the boxes.

Large storage capacity
As part of my job, I read a lot of paper documents. This is the perfect bag for me. It has a large main compartment to carry paper. And it easily accommodates my laptop, my iPad, and my headphones. I would recommend this bag to anyone who carries their office with them.

This is the best backpack I ever had
I have been using Brentheaven backpack in the past ten years. It is very durable and still functional, and I could keep using it, but its design and functionality is quite outdated. So, I was looking for a replacement backpack. My backpack is basically mobile office and needs to hold all of my equipments. While I have looked into all potential backpacks from big manufacturers and non-branded companies, many of them are dropout based on price/functionality/design/size/durability/review comments on Amazon. After two weeks of the research, I finally decided to buy this Everki Atlas 15.6". I did not choose a larger 17" one because my current laptop is 2018 15"MBP, and wanted to get a lighter backpack. In this backpack, I carry 15" MBP, 12.9" iPad Pro, SONY WH-1000XM3 headphone, power adaptors, different cables and adaptors, an umbrella, large pen case, business card case, earphone, etc.... The good thing is that even it is fully packed. It does not feel heavy on my shoulder. Zippers are high quality and very easy to open/close, the shoulder strap is well padded and comfortable, and the materials used are of high quality. The price is a bit higher than others, but you are paying for the quality. I highly recommend this backpack!!

The do-it-all-bag with tons of room
I absolutely love this bag. I came across Everki when I was looking for a bag for my Alienware 18 laptop and only the Titan was big enough for it to go in. Since I sold the AW18 and bought a smaller 15.6" laptop, I needed a new bag. I did a lot of research across multiple brands including Samsonite, Swissgear etc and came back every time to Everki. I love the functionality built into the bag. Genius little touches like a water bottle retainer in the side pocket, key clip in the front section (I'm forever wondering where I've left my car keys when on the way back from the plane) and the orange interior to make things stand out (and look pretty cool, I'm a KTM owner ;)). There's a ton of space in the bag. I recently took an overnight business trip and packed in both the 15.6in laptop with its power brick, headphones and external drive, a 13in work laptop, headset and powerbrick, phone charger and cables, laptop cooler stand, two mice, assorted cables, kindle, a wash bag and a change of tshirt/uwear. This bag also has an awesome retainer strap that will fit over the handle of your wheelie case for longer trips with more luggage (this is the reason I bought this over the Everki Flight ironically enough). All in all, solidly constructed and great quality.

Fantastic Bag. Worth the cost.
Ok. So we'll start with explaining why I docked this a star. I gave 4 stars for only 1 reason but I felt, based on it's selling points, is quite major. The bag is is not check point friendly... The whole selling point of the design is that you don't need to remove your laptop to place it through an airport scanner. This isn't allowed. I must have done 10 trips, going through the USA, the UK, China and Russia and every time without fail... "Please remove your laptop and place it in a separate tray." No matter how many times I demonstrate or explain the design of the bag, they won't allow it. Laptop separate. In it's own tray, every time. So that's why I docked it a star because you aren't actually allowed to use this feature... The bag though is utterly fantastic. It is a 5* bag otherwise, maybe even 6... It is incredibly well made, durable and sterdy. I've had 15kg of weight in there on occassions and I can pick it up with 1 strap and throw it over my shoulder and I don't feel like it's going to rip at the seams anywhere. The zips are solid metal and feel like they'll last forerver. And the interior uses a gorgeous type of felt. In short, I've had this bag 6 months now, travelled with it quite a lot and it still feels and looks brand new. There are tonnes of compartments, There's 4 main ones including the laptop compartment, and a 5th open compartment on the back. A top pocket for valueables (I love this) and 2 side pockets. In each of these compartments are mini compartments for various things as well, like documents or even pens. It also has a strap that allows you to attach it to the pulley of a small suitcase if you don't want to carry it. That being said, with so many compartments at your disposal, you can't actually get a great deal into the bag sometimes. If you put something large into one of the compartments, then you're not going to be able to use any of the other compartments because the material isn't going to stretch. This wastes quite a lot of the space. So there have been times where I've wanted to put something quite large in there, which would easily fit, but it's not been possible due to the interior design of the bags compartments. But this is fine. It may be something that you might want to bare in mind however. It's not the most practical of bags for this reason, but if you're organised and will be filling it with tonnes of small to medium sized stuff, then it is certainly worth the cost later down the line. I have heard plenty of stories of a lifetime warrenty too. It is a fantastic bag. Worth the cost certainly. It is a very attractive bag. (A lot nicer than the main photo makes it out to be) Whenever I go anywhere or out on a day trip, i genuinely feel as if I have the best bag around. (Sort of like owning a mercedes I guess?) Top quality ruksack. One of my best Amazon purchases. I have just given it 4 stars for the lack of actually being able to use it as the checkpoint friendly bag it claims.

Amazing bag top quality!
This bag is totally worth the price if carrying an expensive laptop! I bought this bag to carry my ASUS Zephyrus S GX701 with me when I travel working on board ships. If fits the laptop just fine but any bigger 17" laptops may struggle to fit. The bag is of amazing quality and the materials and zips feel top quality. The other main reason I bought this bag was for the TSA approved airport security feature allowing the bag to be zipped down seperating the laptop from the main compartment alleviating the need to take the laptop out of the bag when going through security. Unfortunately I found out that airports in the UK and Norway do not recognise this and still request you to take the laptop out of the bag. Which is annoying! Howver this does not take anything away from the bag itself. I couldnt recommend this bag enough! Well worth the price tag.

Awesome back pack.
Literally the first time I’ve ever left an amazon review. Felt compelled as this bag is awesome! really roomy, and holds the laptop perfectly, in fact I have 2 x 15 inch laptops I travel with and it holds those securely as well as the iPad in that paticulaf pouch. The middle section is big enough for my umbrella, the rain cover, wet wipes and my wash bag, there is then easily enough room left in there for a couple of pairs of jeans, t-shirts, underpants etc. Then the other 2 pockets hold all the note pads, chargers, cables, battery banks, power supplies etc. Still lots of room and nooks and crannies left.
