The pieces are small but thick and sturdy, and the images are clear

Just finished this last night and it looks incredible. Initially I thought it was messed up because before it's fully put together it doesn't lay completely flat. The same thing happened when I did my ravensburger puzzle though and, one complete, it looks about as seamless as most any puzzle (save for white mountain which leaves a very flush, clean surface). The pieces are small but thick and sturdy, and the images are clear. Once finished, I gave it two coats of mod podge puzzle saver and then hung it on the wall in my class. But I am missing one piece (a pink piece from one of the brains on the right). I don't know if this is user error or quality control.

Awesome Puzzle!

This puzzle is educational and enjoyable. This puzzle gifted me hours of quality time with my daughters. There’s nothing more valuable than that! The added bonus was it’s educational value.. Great illustrations...

Missing a piece

It was missing a piece so that sucked. Took over a week to put together as it isnt in English and then it was missing a piece. Ugh

The Brain by Tamara

Much detail on this puzzle-a good learning tool along with some fun. Graphics are crisp, print is small but readable. Modest amount of white space. I recommend it for the high schooler that has a deep interest in the brain (or anyone for that matter). I wish it would have been available when I was in med school-had a hard time remembering all that detailed stuff!

Demanding, but...

The first thing to say is that at £13.99 this was good value. It's value-per-hour-spent was extremely good, as this was the hardest jigsaw that I have entertained! Lots of white, lots of small writing, several languages, not so easy to distinguish between the different diagrams, and a puzzle cut that is peculiarly its own. That said I enjoyed the challenge, refusing to give up on it as I was encouraged to do. It is done. This is my second jigsaw from Eurographics: piece imperfects were less than 1%. The jigsaw behaved much better on my Portapuzzle with it peach fabric surface so that was good. I will buy more.

Easy to fit together.

This was a good jigsaw to do.... not particularly difficult. I was disappointed to find that most of the writing was not in English as I had hoped to learn some details about the brain.

Disappointed

After working on the puzzle for numerous hours with my kids to find out it’s missing a piece. All that hard work and can’t get a full satisfaction. We are very disappointed.
