My cat’s favorite toy
My Nebelung cat, Nora loves this mouse toy. It is certainly sturdy as she constantly captures Mousey & then tosses it around trying to kill it. Sometimes when I spot it across the room or find it IN MY BED each morning, the toy mouse appears too lifelike. ;)

The cats think it is the best toy ever!
Updated 1/26/2015 this is the second mouse I purchased. The cats loved the first one and have been fighting over it so I decided to buy a second one. This one was also pounced as soon as it hit the floor. It must have a great smell that I don't smell because the cats are impressed. I wasn't impressed by this little mouse, but my cats actually had a "glare the other down fight" over who was going to play with it. Both cats are delighted with this toy, despite the initial refusal to share. I was not impressed because it had no stuffing. I did not realize it is like the larger no stuffing dog toys. I shrugged and tossed it to the cats. It barely hit the floor before one of my senior cats jumped on it and refused to share. The first cat finally wore himself out and wandered off so the second equally senior cat could pounce it. This toy is played with and torn at as if it were a genuine dead mouse. I have shaken my head daily watching one of my senior cats tearing at this mouse with his mouth as if he were trying to rip off bites of dead mouse. His vigorous shredding on the tail and body has not left a mark. He grabs the body with his paws and bites the tail, yanking at it, but has yet to bite off a hunk. I keep watching and examining the mouse for tear marks indicating the cat needs a vet visit, but so far, despite his best efforts, the mouse has remained whole. That last paragraph, that impresses me. This mouse is sturdy enough to hold up to the diligent efforts of a predatory hunter trying to "eat" it. The mouse is now scrunchy with cat drool. The cats give it two paws up and they are picky what toys they allow to take up their time. It is the first time I have seen either of them appearing interested in the scent of catnip, they were both rolling on the mouse and sitting around with the distinct "high on catnip looks".

Somewhat disappointed
My cats aren't too interested in it. There's nowhere to add fresh cat nip and it's different than what's pictured.

Lasts a long time
I have had this for over ten months, and it has been used by my adult cat when he was a feral kitten, then by a new kitten, and is presently the plaything of some kittens in the feral colony in our back yard. It has weathered rain, tiny claws and heaven knows what else, and it still intact. As for the catnip filling, that never seemed to make a difference. Kittens played with it about the same way they do with lizards, spiders and dust balls, so if you are seeking a toy that will send your furball into bliss and craziness, this is probably not it. However, if you want something that seem impervious to the elements and activity this will make you and your cat(s) happy.

The cats LOVE this toy. Realistic, safe and FUN!!!
My cats really love this mouse. We have now purchased three of them because the first one got lost and they are just so much fun. We have received a gray one and two brown ones. The toy is very realistic looking as it is the same size as a real mouse and the colors are the same. It is very soft but also a strong material that doesn't seem like it will be falling apart any time soon. We have a "kitty condo" that we made from a large cardboard box. It basically has small holes cut out around the sides and a couple of flaps for doors. The cats go in the kitty condo and we poke little toys through the holes and they just go crazy and attack. This toy is perfect for that game. My cats also like to just catch this when I throw it at them and attack and kick it. I can also slide it across the tile floor and they will race across the floor to catch it. I really like that this toy does not have any stuffing because I feel that it is safe enough to leave around the house without being a choking or toxic hazard to my pets. I highly recommend this toy, especially for the great low price. It is a great toy to to have in any cat lover's collection. Skinneeez For Cats - Mouse

the case of the disappearing mice
I've gotten 4 of these for my cat. She loves them. But they keep disappearing. I've looked under the usual places including couch cushions. I'm starting to think she eats them. She's only 7.5 pounds - not a big bruiser by any means. Has anyone else had this mystery of the disappearing mice? Thx.

PURR-R-R-FECT cat toy!
My cat LOVES this toy-- so much so, that I just purchased a THIRD one for her (yes, she's spoiled!). It's a perfect size and shape, and the fact that it is flat (instead of "stuffed") is probably the BEST feature! My cat easily picks it up in her mouth and carries it around the house, making a sound that can only be described as a shrill scream (sounding like a siren!), which actually seems to be her way of calling attention to her "prize"-- she seems very proud of herself that she is able to take her mouse for a 'walk' and show it off! She brings it to me as if she is presenting me with a gift, and loves it when I throw it so that she can then play "fetch"! She also enjoys batting it underneath doors (playing hide and seek?!), since it easily slides on uncarpeted floors! I highly recommend this authentic-looking toy (I have sometimes had to do a double-take, just to be sure it isn't the "real" thing!). It's a good value for the price, the shipping is fast, and it's the perfect toy to keep a cat occupied for quite a while!

Tiny version of a great original
I have a skinneeez mouse which my cat loves but it’s getting old and the plan was to replace it. The new one , which cost £9!! (an outrageous price considering it’s size) is TINY in comparison to the original. I’ve kept it as my kitty will play with it but I really did consider sending it back for a refund. I clearly have more money than sense. I have added a picture to show the HUGE difference between the original (the big one) and the one that is sold on this listing (the teeny weeny one). For scale the small one is 6 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches of which is the tail. Appalling value for money.

Skinny mice
I felt a slight anticlimax when I first saw these Skinneeez catnip mice; whilst they are broadly the size of a real mouse, they are virtually flat and stuffed only with a small amount of catnip. Having caught them out of the corner of my eye on several occasions when coming downstairs in the morning, I now reflect they look surprisingly realistic. I received two brown mice and one grey, each attached to a piece of card and sealed in an individual plastic bag, no doubt helping to keep the cat nip in tip top condition and at maximum potency. My eldest cat went totally nuts and, if the vet had seen her, I think the consensus would have been that she has made a full recovery from some significant leg trauma last year. I did reach a hand in to remove the mouse from her frenzied grasp at one point so that the others could have a go but didn't stand a chance until she had completed her fix some time later. There seems to be some variance in the amount of catnip in the mice as the grey mouse remains the firm favourite and the brown is often ignored. But they may just prefer their mice grey rather than brown.

Cats love these
These were recommended to me, and I have since recommended them to others. Cats love them. They will throw them around, and chase them. They will carry them to around in their mouths. Great to watch cats play with them.

Excellent hard wearing toy
My dad calls this the boneless mouse, but my kitten adores it. Definitely her favourite small toy. I think the texture really attracts her plus it's light and soft but not bulky so she can easily bat it and carry it around. For the amount she has played with it (quite viciously at times) it has held up excellently, with only the felt nose being sacrificed so far. Not sure how much it is about the catnip though as she doesn't seem to show a lot of interest in the stuff, at least not for long! At this price, much rather the mouse than my hands!

Brilliant
This is the best thing I have bought for my cat. She's an indoor cat and never really been interested in other toys and I worried that she was not keeping active enough until I bought this little mouse. She plays with it for hours flipping it up in the air and catching it and chasing it around the flat. She loves it.
