Its okay.....

The rooster on here does not look like what it actually looks like. It has much less definition to it in reality. It is just cast iron and was not cast well. It certainly had its imperfections when it was cast, nothing major, but not perfect. It will show which way the wind blows, but its certainly not that aesthetic. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

Great addition to any garden

Weathervane

We opened the box and began to set the pieces onto the table only to discover one of the letters was cracked. When I picked it up it snapped off. I was given return instructions and received a prompt refund.

no problem with postage or delivery but the weather vane only fits the north and south into the west and east upside down due to poor alignment so it doesn't match. Otherwise just got to decide where to put it 'cos its so heavy we will need to position it on a strong bracket as the one supplied wouldn't be suitable anywhere.

Smaller than the picture portrayed.

Good cast iron weather vane, But The base securing brackets are made From mild steel and though they Support the vane ok I think they should be stronger, also The whole unit is smaller than the picture portrayes, still looks good.

Not happy

I wish that my Husband had got and open this straight away ( it was a present), or we might have been able to return it. It wouldn't fit together properly, s d when forced, it broke and now we have missed the return date

Rooster weathervane

This looks really good but was a real pig to get trued up - one support leg was fractionally longer than the other one. Also, the top indicator section is really too heavy and won't spin round properly.

Not fit for purpose

The problem with this is that the piece that is supposed to show the wind direction is too heavy and will not turn even in gusty conditions, Unless you have a very pitched roof the bracket is useless and on a flat surface it is very unstable. Nice to look at but not fit for purpose
