Great clock just needs to be lit all the time!

My husband is dying from a rare disease called Antiphospholipid Syndrome it is a disease that causes thickening of the blood producing strokes in the brain. So he has lost many of his facilities such as knowing what day it is or the time. Your clock has only one problem it isn't automatically lit to tell the time he has to roll over to the night stand & press the large button on top of it to get it to light up while in bed. It was the only room in the house that didn't have a clock for him to tell the day & time. Otherwise it is great! He laughed at the color but truly enjoys the large print of the numbers & the large button to push to light the face up.

Easy to use product

Simple to use but shipping takes very long. The first one I bought did not work and I'm still waiting (over 10 days) to receive my replacement with no eta.

Works great and keeps good time

I bought one but needed two but I wasn't sure if I would like it. I love it numbers a large enough to see and it keep good time. To use night light you must press button at the top , It only stays on for 5 seconds it will not stay on so if you need it to stay on do not buy this. I got another I love it so much.

So Extremly disappointed

I am so extremely disappointed. I am a college student and wanted this alarm clock to wake me up so I could keep track of time and other things such as the date. I wanted an alarm clock that I could keep on my bed, due to the fact that I have other things next to my bed and therefore can't put it on any type of night stand. So I decided to put this on my bed. When I first wanted to get an alarm clock, I wanted it to have personality type characteristics and not just the standard plain Jane sort of speak. I thought I found it but boy was I wrong. Upon arrival, I took out the batteries from my old alarm clock which it had been faithful in serving its time and put them into the new clock. I reset the time to what it should have been and the correct date. Immediately I had noticed the frustration that started to build when I tried to see the time. A previous person had made the statement that you can not see this alarm clock at all angles of viewing and my only thought is that they were more clear upon there description of what they meant. Here is a more detailed version of there comment. Once the item is on, you can not see it hardly at any angle. Whether looking at it straight, laying it on the bed, or staring at it straight on. You have to have the item more on a lower surface or a higher surface than what you are viewing it at, because if you don't then the item is almost impossible to see. Meaning that it looks like it has no batteries in it and that it is hardly on at all. When you go to press the light/snooze button, it does light up, but you cant hardly see the time what so ever. It as if the light over powers the numbers on the screen. This is the same effect as when driving. If you are driving down a road and the on coming traffic has there brights on instead of there regular head lights on then it makes it almost impossible to see the road ahead of you where you are driving. Well not only can you not see the time with out the light being on, but you have an almost impossible time seeing it when the light is on. I thought saving a few dollars would be the way to go, but it seems that this is the only way to go if I want this product to go directly in the trash can. This got 2 stars due to the fact that it was easy to set the time and everything else on it. The reason it only got 2 stars instead of more was because of the almost impossible viewing of the time and also the lack of the alarm. I know only few people said that it could wake a child up but not an adult and that was wrong. The amount of sound that this alarm clock puts out is weaker than my old alarm clock which I got at Wal-Mart for only 6.00s. The sound is just loud enough to wake a fly up. My cell phone is loader than this. I would have only gave it one star, but it deserved another when I found that the alarm stays on for approximate 60 seconds and that the snooze came on every 5 minutes after being pressed, but don't think the alarm will come back on it the snooze button is not pressed, because after that it just shuts off even though the back button was never turned off. There is a back button that you have to turn either to on or off if you want the alarm on or off. My old alarm would wake up the other end of the house on its version of steady building volume as it went of and would angrily go off before it decided to quite and wait till the next day to go off and was a very good alarm clock. I just wish I could have found another. This alarm clock is a waist of money, not unless you plain on buying it to see how far it bounces off of a 2 story building or something. I absolutely hate this. You cant hardly see the dang thing and it hardly makes any noise when it does sound. Also when setting the alarm the number flashes and when it flashes, it doesn't always show you what the number is when you are trying to set it. If you skip your ideal number you have to go back around again to set it. There are a lot more buttons to click and push and move just to get anything accomplished. For example if you want to set the alarm, you first have to slide the back button to unlock from any numbers being pushed. Once that is done you then have to set the alarm while trying to see the numbers and while doing this angling the alarm clock so that YOU CAN SEE THE NUMBERS ON THE ALARM CLOCK. Once that is done and you have set the alarm to the correct time, you then slide the button back into the lock position and then have to slide the other button clear on the other side of the alarm clock to the on position to make sure the alarm is on. What I find extremely dumb about the alarm clock is the reason for why it is so quiet is because the speaker in which the alarm noise comes out of is located on the back and it is about the size of the tip of a paper mates pen cap. I know one may think I am ranting and raving over the alarm clock, but I am not........ someone needed to tell how they really felt, and I am not usually the one to bash a product, but this one needed the further explanation. Don't buy this and save your money. This is priced way to much for what it truly is. I wouldn't even get this product if they (the company) were paying me the 12.97 that I paid for. They say you save 2.02 and that the regular price is 14.99 but I laugh at that for I wouldn't have paid that much if I truly knew how bad this product really was. Believe me when I say your money can be spent on something much better. If you don't believe me, then after you buy it, you'll believe me and then you can join the club.

Bought two for my kids - a Kindergartner and a Preschooler Who Must Have Everything Big Brother Has. Great value for the money. The buttons on the back takes a few times of practice for kids, but are boring enough to discourage playing with. Alarm on/off indicator is easy to see, LCD backlight is bright enough to allow confirmation of time/alarm, and turns off in a few seconds. No backlight until button on top is pushed - great for our kids, who like a dark room. Alarm noise is loud enough to wake kids, but not overly annoying. I didn't even think about it until it happened, but my kids often drop these on themselves as they groggily turn off the alarm - the padded body is a nice plus. Have had for 4 months now, with rough kid use, both are still working great.

Great first clock for upper elementary age

Simple alarm clock gets the job done, but there's no off button

I bought this for a six-year-old to use to help him wake up in the morning. He thinks it is great. The clock was super easy to set. One of the easiest to clocks that I've seen. There are specific switches on the back for each item. I liked that it came with a 2 year warranty. There is a snooze button on top and the night light works really well. What I don't like about it is that there is no button to turn off/cancel the alarm. You can hit the snooze button but then it will go off again in a few more minutes. The only option is to allow the alarm to play for a full a minute before it auto shuts itself, or to turn off the switch to the alarm (which means it won't go off again the next day, unless you switch it back on). This is difficult for my young son to do, and I think would be more effort than an adult would want to do first thing in the morning. Overall though, this is accomplishing what I wanted it to. My son loves the color and nightlight, and I think it was worth it for the price.

Good Alarm Clock

I am looking for a alarm clock that can satisfy me requirements for a long time. This one is not perfect, but is close to my need. Pros: 1) Show both current time and alarm time. 2) The backlight is off until you push the "light" button. I am quite sensitive during sleeping. Even a dim light can make me unsleeping. 3) The alarm sound is loud enough. It is not very load, but reasonable in a quiet night. Cons: 1) You cannot see the time from every angle. For example, you can see the number on the LED clearly if you eyes is in front of or above the clock. But if your eyes are below the clock, the time becomes blur. 2) You can only set one alarm. 3) Cannot skip Sun. and Sat. for the alarm.
