Grandson Loves it!
My grandsons (8 &10) loved it! Got a great deal pm price, and then lots of hugs! What more is there to say, LOL! Okay, a bit more... The product did seem to be well made and has survived two rowdy boys!

We love the Engino toys! Stem toys, with a lot of options. My now 7 years old has been playing with Engino since he was 5. We have also bought some of the toys for presents.

Disappointed
Sadly, not as good as we expected. Most of the design options don't even use the motor. The motor is so lacking in power, like like the batteries are dead even when new. The pieces seem brittle and connections are challenging.

These are fantastic!
I got this for my 8 year old grandson and he loved it. It didn't take him long and he had a super cool helicopter built. It builds sturdy, it stays together with play. Great set for any child.

Very cool fun to build, motor or tyres could be improved
The media could not be loaded. This is very cool. I made it whilst my kids watched. It was even challenging for me. It took the best part of an hour. It was a good challenge and really its just started as it has so many other builds to do. I've knocked a star off due to the traction. The motor spins round but the tyres struggle on both tile and wood floor. They don't go round too well, sometimes they seem to skid round and not get enough grip. I mean it does go, but it could go so much better.

STEM-based building kit for 8 years plus -- recommended!
A fab STEM-based building kit for the potential engineer (young or old) in your family. It is aimed at 8 years plus, but my adult brother's eyes lit up when he saw this so I don't think my nephew got much of a look-in when it came to doing the builds. As another reviewer has commented, this is very much a plastic version of Meccano. The kit arrives in a large and sturdy plastic clip-seal box, which is useful for storage when the pieces are not in use. All the pieces are grouped in separate bags and there is an fairly thick instruction manual which details how to make two vehicles (picture instructions): SUV and tractor. There's also a leaflet with information about the remote control. You are however not limited to just two vehicles as there are 58 models online that you can choose to build as well as or instead of the two in the manual. These are quite challenging to build (according to my engineer brother) making then both educational and great fun, and then you have the added fun of playing with them after they are built. My brother is very pleased with this product and says he is happy to recommend. The price was not available at time of review, but I seem to remember it was around £40 when I got this item, which seems reasonable for its quality, educational value and the variety of projects available.

An excellent introduction to STEM projects.
This is very much a Meccano set made of plastic rather than metal. I would have loved a set like this when I was a kid. I loved all construction type toys. There is no doubt that toys like this will aid a child’s education in many ways. Even adults could learn from this set. It arrives in a Tupperware style storage box which is a great way to keep everything together. Inside are bags and bags of parts. Without opening any of the bags, you can see straight away that this is a quality set. Although they’re plastic the parts have been made with decent hardwearing plastic. The booklet is pretty comprehensive showing builds stage by stage. You can also download a 3D instruction set from their website which is very novel. This set can produce 60 different models, all motorised. You do need to supply a couple of AAA batteries for the motor unit. Some of the available projects are simple while others get quite complex. Ages 8+ is probably a good guide but even then they will probably need adult help. Who the adult asks for help is unknown! The asking price is a bit steep, but you do get a lot for your money. Besides, you can’t put a price on a child’s education. Overall, an excellent introduction to STEM projects. I hope that helps.

Fantastic creative kit
I got this kit for my 8 year old son to keep him busy during rainy lockdown days and it is an absolutely fascinating kit. There are so. Many different things that he had been able to make and do and loads more that he could create with them. He has become fascinated with engineering and so much thought goes into it every time. It is extremely sturdy and durable and he enjoys challenging himself to make the next one. It comes with 2 printed and 58 online instructions which you can use to. Make up to 69 different 3d kits including a bike, excavator, race car and so many more!!! Once he finishes with one project he keeps it on display before moving on to the next but all parts can also be put back into the storage box which is a good size to take on holidays with you to give the kids something to do on rainy days. This kit is fantastic value for money considering everything you can do with it and I highly recommend it. It would make a perfect gift for any child 8 plus who enjoys making different things with a challenge.

Great building set
Great building set Comes with building pieces (made from plastic) and a torque gear box (which requires 3xAAA) to make your completed builds move (all comes in a plastic storage box). The booklet has instructions for 2 modules with the option of going online to view a further 60 models to build. The instructions are very clear (especially when viewed on a ipad as they instructions are in 3D and it allows you to zoom in and rotate to the model to help while assembling) Suitable for ages 8yrs+ (however younger children may struggle as some of the models are more challenging to build than others). My 10yr old enjoyed this set and had a fun weekend making a variety of the different models which all turned out great. Excellent quality, comes with a 3 year warranty. Would make a great birthday/Christmas present. The only con I have is the price considering you can get a set from the leading building kit brands for roughly the same price, however this set has great play value due to the number of models you can build. Would definitely be buying more sets from this brand Would recommend.
