Easy to use while doing sports
This is great for re apply during a golf game or any outdoor sports

Application
While I use the regular suncreen in a pump form of this brand and like it, the stick is new to me. It does not glide on easily. It pulls on the skin is uncomfortable to apply. It seems too dry. I like the concept, however, as it is not messy to apply.

Works for dark, oily skin
The hunt for mineral sunscreens for dark skin with little or no white cast has been more difficult than I ever imagined lol. This one definitely fits the bill but it is tiny and expensive. I have very oily, dark skin and use it to reapply sunscreen thoughout the day. It has a slight white cast but this blends in quickly. I’d buy again unless I find a cheaper option.

I love this sunscreen so much!!!! So easy to apply. I used it on my face in Mexico for a week, and didn’t get burnt at all. Barely any white cast. A bit pricey but so worth it

Pills when reapplied
I love elta sunscreen and haven’t used anything else on my face in over a year. I usually use the regular sunscreen and love how lightweight it is and it easily reapplies. I tried the stick version and it is completely different. This stick version is sticky to the touch and traps hair on my face like lipgloss. When I apply the stick for the second time in the day is pills and leaves hard to remove clumps stuck in the sticky sunscreen. The positives are that I do not breakout with this sunscreen as I do with all others I’ve tried and there is no white cast. However, I suggest just buying the regular elta and washing your hands before applying.

Not a Burned Cheek or Nose to Be Found
I'm worried about wrinkles. I mean, I also want to avoid skin cancer. But, when I examine my complexion in a 100x (or whatever) mirror and critically dissect every spot, scar, pore and inperfection ... I lament growing up in the 80s when our parents just didn't really know or care about sunscreen. Anyway ... I wanted a reliable, physical sunscreen (block) that we didn't need to reapply every 5 min and that didn't run into our eyes and sting horribly. THIS WAS IT! We wore this on day one at the beach and we were the only ones w/o a pink/red/hot cheek from lack of sufficient screening. Including our two "babies" (6 & 3 yo) who got the uber-baby block reapplied every hour or so. Going forward, 5 adults and 4 kids wore this on our faces daily. Reapplied ONCE (around lunch) and not a single person had a burn where we wore this. And, we were in the sun for at least 6 full hours daily ... more if we could manage it. Hats were worn but almost everyone, fwiw. So, that certainly helped.

Convenient but drags skin when applied.
It’s handy and convenient to reapply to your face when you don’t have an opportunity to wash hands first which is the reason I keep it in my sports bag. It does however pull/drag on your skin whilst applying.
