Tinted
I like the product. I don't wear any makeup. When I was comparing colors pre-purchase, I wasn't sure if I would go with the white/clear or with the lightly tinted, because I didn't want to have a warm colored foundation on my cool colored skin, but I have a discolored red patch on my forehead that I hoped would be hidden. The product soaks into my skin and is tinted enough that it covers up the discolored patch. (The one and only day I tried the transparent version, my 9-year-old son asked me what was wrong with my forehead. So I'm not interested in trying that one ever again if I have this tinted option.) I do have to make sure that I rub it in enough, cuz it can look a little streaky, because the liquid is quite thick and kind of clumpy. That's the only part I don't like. I generally have to use two or three pea sized drops in sections. I have to watch the edges by my hair to make sure they blend in. I also have to go under my jawline so that the color reaches into the shadow to blend it on my neck; otherwise it's visible. It completely soaks in, so it doesn't feel like makeup at all. I'm very white and fine with that and wanted to keep my natural color, so I also worried that the tint was going to make me look tan or something. I'm not sure how much browner I look, but it must be some if it covers up the patch. I feel like the product works. I haven't gotten any sunburns. I'm very happy and plan to continue buying it. I've been using it daily for several weeks, and the bottle feels maybe half full. Pretty pricey to me ($40 for a small bottle of sunscreen??), but the price seems worth it to have that dark patch on my forehead gone and even-looking skin without feeling like I'm wearing makeup, and also not getting sun exposure.

Pale Tint
My go to sunscreen is always the Elta UV Clear non-tinted but chose to try this to replace a tinted moisturizer. I’m normally a beige skin tone and this makes me look like a ghost girl. The tint is fairly strong and with the normal white cast in physical blocks, this was just too pale for me. But good coverage overall, I have to mix with a facial oil or serum so it doesn’t dry out my skin too significantly.

Only sunscreen that doesn't burn my face, even when I'm sweating
I love everything about this product aside from the cost, go figure. Every sunscreen I have ever tried has burned my face, especially if I'm sweating, this one however causes 0 irritation at all on my sensitive skin. The tint is VERY light but gives your skin a little boost of color. Hard to say how good sun protection is as we kinda just have to hope what they put on the packaging is correct and truthful lol. Love this product, most likely a lifetime customer.

Goes on smooth
I am allergic to many sunscreens but my esthetician recommended this tinted sunscreen after a client with very sensitive skin found it worked for them. It's lightweight so I feel like I can use enough and really spread it around to get even coverage. The tint helps to camouflage the mineral color. The tube is good sized for the price. I finally found a sunscreen I don't dread applying in the morning.

Lightweight and not shiny. Replaces my CC cream.
I tried this UV Physical sunscreen and the Elta MD UV Clear. Compared to UV Clear, this UV Physical is thicker but still light and easy to apply. UV Physical is not shiny like UV Clear is on my skin. This sunscreen works as a CC cream for me. I still use some concealer on some spots, but UV Physical works well enough for me to skip the CC cream that I would normally wear during the day. I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the high price.

May leave in light white cast on brown skin
I have brown skin with heavy hyperpigmentation from acne. I have tired a variety of tinted physical sunscreen - LRP, Cotz, CeraVe, Australian gold, Ilia serum, and the Elta MD UV Physical SPF 41 Tinted Mineral Sunscreen has been my favorite so far. It does not break me out, it is not oily, the texture is slightly creamy and spreads easily. Only downside, it does leave a white cast as soon as you apply, but it does fade away in 2-5mins as it settles onto the skin.

JUST BUY IT!
I love love love this. I am a natural red head with sensitive skin. I also get milia and have used tons of mouisturers, face wash, and sun screen that makes it worse. I have never used anything that made better, and almost over night. It also evens out my skin ton a good bit and helps with redness. I use this alone and sometimes with a little powder foundation and mascara. Yes it's $40, but it's a quality product and doesn't cost any more than other quality make up items. If you want something cheaper, go to Wal-Mart or the drugstore. If you want quality, buy this.

My sensitive skin approves!
Folks, my skin (and eyes) hate everything, and i mean everything. I feel like ive tried 30 different sunscreens.. many of which i liked but my skin decided it did not; or my skin was happy but my eyes wernt; or everything was happy but the tint stunk and made me look like an oompa loompa. (Im nc15-20 for reference). I was going to give up the fight and just let the sun shine down on me, bare faced. I have rosacea and am super dry.. mineral sunscreens dont help the dryness but chemical ones leave me with a small bumpy rash on the places i have rosacea as well as burning on my cheekbones. The tone of this is a light orangy pinky.. more cool toned than i like but it doesnt show up because its not very pigmented, which i enjoy. This doesnt have a white cast on me (but i am paleish). I can put this around my eyes with no stinging. (This in itself deserves an award. WATER annoys my eyes. Water. I mean, this is what im dealing with) My particular foundations go overtop of it okay (revlon colorstay normal dry and abh illuminating). That being said, i do find this a bit thickish.. heavy sort of, but not bad.. its just not as light as say skinceuticals physical fusion, or la roche posay anthelios fluid. Its a gel/cream consistancy and it spreads pretty easily. I didnt find this drying either, nor did it get dryer and dryer throughout the day (looking at you, eltamd elements... and also twenty zillion other ones). It leaves my parched skin looking moisturized with a slight sheen but definitely not dewy by any means. Overall this isnt my holy grail, mostly due to the weight of it on my skin, but its one of the best ive come across, and even if i do find better, i will continue to use this around my eyes. (Also theres 3oz of product in this tube which is pretty impressive.)

Me encanta, lo compraré siempre
Es excelente, tengo la piel y ojos muy sensibles y con este protector no tengo ningún tipo de problema al aplicarlo incluso en los párpados, no irrita, no pica, no se corre con el agua o sudor. Al ser con tinte deja un terminado "de buena cara", no parece que traes maquillaje pero unifica tan bonito que incluso podría no maquillarme. No se hace bolitas con los productos que uso de skincare antes y permite aplicar el maquillaje encima sin problema. Si eres de piel grasa ayuda a controlar el brillo facial pero sin resecar, de todas maneras despues de unas horas es necesario retirar el brillo. Al contener óxidos de hierro es ideal para quienes tenemos manchitas. Hay que dejar que se absorba bien unos minutos y el resultado es perfecto. Lo único malo quizá es que es más caro que otros pero lo vale

Acne-prone skinned people beware!
I don't recommend this for acne-prone skin. I have very sensitive, combination/dry skin (T zone very oily, cheeks very dry), so I bought this sunscreen because I've heard amazing things about it. I was looking for a mineral sunscreen because chemical ones can cause irritation for me since they often contain alcohol. I did not make the connection that this sunscreen broke me out until the third time I used it. Exactly two days after using this product I noticed the break outs starting. I would have never made the connection if I used this sunscreen daily, but I was actually using it as make-up to even out my skin tone since I don't like wearing foundation. The tint was just right but the sunscreen always felt filmy and ever dried down. I later found out that mineral sunscreens can clog pores depending on how they are formulated. Sorry to say I had to return it and find a less irritating chemical sunscreen.

Excelente protector para pieles mixtas/grasas y con tonos muy claros, pero a mí no me funcionó
He visto que precioso se le ve este protector solar a amigos y a mi mamá, su protección contra los rayos UV es perfecta, yo diría que de lo mejor que hay por ahí, tiene un acabado muy lindo (no mate pero tampoco brillozo)... simplemente a mi piel no le gustó. Lo recomiendo 100% para tonos de piel muy muy claros y que sean del tipo de piel mixta a grasa. Yo tengo un tono de piel claro pero aún aunque el protector tenga un poco de color, me dejó muy blanquesino el tono del rostro, con pigmentación morado/rosa, muy perceptible, sin mencionar que me resecó mucho la piel (ya tenía crema humectante absorbida antes de aplicar el protector solar), y al final del día noté que me llenó de pequeños granitos y el acabado se veía como polvoso. No cabe duda que todas las pieles son distintas y no a todos les va a funcionar igual, el que no me haya funcionado a mí, no quiere decir que no te funcione a ti, en serio, es un producto buenísimo, pruébenlo.

Practico para piel grasa y climas muy calurosos
Tenía varios años buscando un protector solar que me protegiera y no me hiciera más brotes de acne. Había usado otros protectores de Ávene o La Roche Posay para piel grasa, el resultado era que aunque solo saliera 5 minutos al sol siempre traía el rostro rojo y siempre mucho más grasoso de lo habitual. Cuando pude probar los protectores de Elta MD mi rutina cambio por completo, mi rostro ya no esta enrojecido y no más grasa de lo habitual. En particular yo vivo en una ciudad donde la radiación UV siempre es extrema en verano y temperaturas superiores a 40°C, este protector con tinte es mi salvación, mi piel ha mejorado muchísimo de aspecto desde que lo uso en lugar de maquillaje. Para invierno uso otro protector mineral sin tinte de la misma marca y uso maquillaje. Mi piel es muy grasa, y por tanto estoy conciente de que a menos que use polvo no estaré matificada, he hecho las pases con el brillo que que genera mi piel naturalmente, y este protector no lo incrementa. Tengo más de dos años usandolo y no lo cambio por nada.
