Great product.
Bought it for my pregnant belly. So far , I am very satisfied. If you apply it on wet body you don't need much oil. It spreads very well.

Pregnancy
I purchased this based off a recommendation from Lauryn Evarts Bosstick of The Skinny Confidential. I am pregnant and will be using this to hopefully prevent stretch marks. Elemis Japanese Camellia Body Oil First off, I’ve been a big fan of Elemis for a few years now. They’re a brand out of the UK & they just get it. Elemis sources all their ingredients from nature & their products DELIVER! Like expect results, ya know? Anyway, this Japanese oil is popular among pregnant women. But what I like about it is you can use it all over you body, face included. Throughout pregnancy I’m really realizing how important it is to oil up your whole body, pregnant or not. It’s just good for you, plain & simple. This oil: ♡ is rich in Vitamin E & sweet almond oil ♡ is rich in plant collagen ♡ is good for stretch mark prevention ♡ maintains skin’s elasticity ♡ & is rich in camellia oil What is camellia oil? Camellia oil is also known as tea seed oil, is rich in antioxidants & is used for its nourishing & conditioning properties. It can be used on sensitive skin and on any skin type. In fact, Japanese women use it to care for their oily skin, clog pores, dry skin, nails hair & scalp. It just leaves your skin so silky & supple. Start with the face, then slather it on your whole body. I’m stretching out big time over here so I really slap this on. I probably do about 6 good shakes & put it everywhere- face, neck, chest, arms, tits, belly, legs.

Light, fresh, comforting oil
Love love love this oil! I purchased this bottle from amazon after having gone through an entire bottle that I purchased on a cruise when I was about 4 months pregnant. I was skeptical that it could keep stretch marks away, but I loved the scent and the lightness of this oil, not to mention I really disliked the smell and feel of cocoa butter lotion. I used this oil DAILY from the day I purchased it to the day I delivered. The first bottle lasted me several months, but I tried to use it very sparingly because of how pricey it is. Towards the end of my pregnancy and with my second bottle, I would mix the oil with a little bit of a soft, unscented lotion. I did not end up with any stretch marks, though I can’t say with 100% certainty that that’s thanks to this oil or to genetics or whatever else. I imagine I will use this oil again for any subsequent pregnancies, as well as using the rest of the bottle I have now just to relax. My only real complaint is that I don’t feel great spending so much on a bottle of oil; this is definitely a splurge item.

The SMELL
I love the frangipani monoi oil, but I hate having to melt it before using it, so I got this oil instead to save time. I knew that I was taking a chance because I didn’t know what it would smell like. Well, the scent is light but it’s also just a tiny bit “old lady floral” to me. It seems to dry down to a clean soap scent, the kind of soaps you see in Marshall’s or T. J. Maxx that have fancy wrapping and come in different scents, but all kind of smell the same. I find the scent doesn’t last too long, and can be easily covered up with perfume. Other than that, I do like the oil. I would get the frangipani next time and deal with the extra step because I love that scent so much more than this.

I HAVE NO STRETCH MARKS!!!
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and literally have no stretch marks after using this! I bought this at the beginning of my second trimester and have used it daily since. I am prone to stretch marks so I was really worried about what my stomach would look like after pregnancy, but my skin has been hydrated and nourished by this oil. It is pricy, but in my opinion it is so worth it!!! I'd recommend this to anyone! Not the biggest fan of the scent, but that's my only complaint.

Non-Greasy Alternative to Shea Butter during pregnancy
Similar to others, I was on a cruise and they used this oil since I was pregnant. I like it enough that I bought it when I got home. The oil itself is nice. I am sensitive to smells and it doesn't really have much of a fragrance, which I appreciate. Once applied, it dries relatively quickly (for an oil) and is absorbed nicely. Since I am pregnant, my belly is stretching and is really dry (I naturally have dry skin). This oil does hydrate my skin well and doesn't leave a sticky residue like shea butter. My only major complaint is the packaging. I absolutely hate the top- it is small and when your hands are greasy, its hard to screw back on. It annoying enough that I plan to move the oil into a different container. The company should fix this. Pros: low level of smell/fragrance, no too greasy, dries into skin well Cons: packaging, a bit pricey

Subtle scent, stays liquid at room temp, softest skin ever
So happy Elemis had oils that stay liquid at room temp. I have been very happy with their Frangipani and Orchid manoi oil for years, but the extra effort involved in having to melt it in warm water before using made me use considerably less. This stuff has a very subtle scent, which I prefer. If you use it for a few days in a row your skin will feel softer than silk (true story, I have a silk bathrobe and compared). I don't usually spend this much on beauty items, but it is one of my go to items for gifts, and my family all knows they can buy me as much of the elemis oils as they want for every gift event too.

Never fails in quality
My mother brought this for me a while ago. I have been using this body oil for many years, and it never fails me. You really are getting top tier quality out of this product. I actually have sensitive skin, and thankfully, I do not react to it.

Love the oil, but cheaper on non-Amazon websites!
I absolutely love this oil (and their frangipani monoi oil too) I noticed visible differences on my arms, the skin is sooo smooth now just after using for a couple weeks! I love the smell of both the oils (Camellia and frangipani) been subscribed to Amazon for these two oils. However I noticed that from other stores you can buy the same product for almost 20-30% less, so I have finally cancelled my subscription with Amazon.

Too light
I have used the Elemis Frangipani oil before and it was lovely but I found the Japanese Camellia oil to be far too delicate a fragrance, I can just about smell it. I also don't like that the bottle is not securely sealed.

Pregnancy oil
I love this oil! Easily soaks in, getting the odd stretch mark due to continuing growing baby bump, but this is lovely to massage in. Not too overpowering, very light, luscious scent.
