The clip on the horse end is odd

The clip on the horse end of the tie is hard to undo, due to the shape. Other than that, great product.

Exactly what we needed

This was ordered to match one that we already had that was navy with burgundy and gold flecks and it was perfect. The function is perfect and it works really well.

Not the best design…

This trailer tie is too short for the trailer I have. My trailer has the hook for the trailer tie above the window. When hooked there, this tie is not long enough, and since it doesn’t adjust, it does not allow the horse to drop their head low enough to munch hay or clear their throat if they need to cough. My other issue with this tie is the clasp. There is no…how to describe this…lip on the clasp to pull the clasp open (see second photo). This makes it extremely difficult to pull the clasp open quickly to attach to halter (I have to use two hands to open it). It takes forever to get it open and attached to the horses halter. I’m reviewing this product because this design is terrible, and I found the same bungee tie by another brand, Tough-1, that has the design that has a lip on the claps to quick open (see third photo). Not happy with the one I bought and will have to find a new tie that will adjust to a longer length and open more easily.

They had good reviews on here

I was very surprised to have these trailer ties break during the 1st month of use. They had good reviews on here, and Weaver is a reputable name. Both of them broke within just a few uses. The return window expired just a couple days ago, so I'm out of luck with that. Big thumbs down! :(
