The one plastic piece broke almost immediately

Overall this set is great. I like that fact that (mostly) all the parts are metal. In the past, I bought ones in stores which were made of plastic or a mix of metal and plastic. The life on those products was short because the plastic piece broke almost immediately. I liked this one because the stands and crossbars were all metal. However, there is one plastic piece on the product - a piece that holds the base legs when the set stored. Within two uses, the plastic piece broke as I was carrying the set to the yard. The weight of the legs caused the piece to twist and then break. The product still works great. It is sturdy and stable. This broken piece doesn't prevent the game from being set up and used. I am very happy with the quality of every part of the set except for the stowaway holders. I don't understand why the manufacturer would put as much effort into making a durable product, but then finish it with a piece that breaks immediately. I would still buy it again, but it is frustrating to have to deal the leg moving and hitting them while being carried. So, if this is important to you, do not buy this set. If you can deal with it, and realize it will happen quickly, I would recommend this set.

Fun game with family

Very Sturdy and Love the Leg Shape

Had a cheap plastic set that was falling apart, so went looking for something that looked durable. Comparing the reviews on both the better PVC sets and the metal sets, it seemed metal was the best choice. I chose this particular set over others with similar reviews because I liked how the legs had a very small footprint, so if they were left sitting in the yard for any length of time, they wouldn't kill any grass. Set arrived within two days of ordering, and assembly was easy, but I'd highly recommend you go grab a decent phillips-head screwdriver when it comes time to do the small screws that hold the leg storage brackets on rather than trying to use the tool provided, although the provided tool is fine for the bolts that hold the crossbars to the frame. The wife and I played a couple of games, and we could not believe how sturdy this thing was compared to the plastic one we tossed into the trash. It barely moved even when we made some pretty hard tosses. Balls seem fine, though they are larger than golf balls. Nice and soft, yet heavy, so errant throws won't do as much damage as with a harder ball. Set looks like it will hold up well unless someone has a bit too much drink during one of our parties and falls on top of it - not sure the metal tubes wouldn't bend. But you can't really expect the manufacturer to take that into account, even if it is billed as a 'tailgate' game, I suppose. So, initial impression is this is an excellent set, and also easily portable even without removing the legs (since they don't take up much space due to the bent design). And even though I'm not a Green Bay fan, I like the colors just fine. My daughter will love them, since she IS a Green Bay fan.

Fun game! Great storage for balls

My family and I had an older version of ladder golf that just pushed together with pvc pipes and was always falling apart. This set up is nice and sturdy and can be moved about in the yard and placed in the car without it falling apart. It does take a bit more storage space this way, but saves time in not needing to rebuild it each time you want to play. The balls are a bit squishy, but have held up to teenage boys playing the game. I love that there is a storage spot for the balls right on the leg this keeps them from getting tangled between use.

Poor quality ladder balls

The posts seem fairly sturdy, but not what I would call professional quality. My main issue is with the ‘quality’ of the balls. The balls are quite mushy, and the length of the ropes are not the same…. Over a half inch variation.

The unit is sturdy would give it a five if the bollo balls weren't loosing the inside material.

Nice quality but check your hardware

I love this for my back yard. It’s the perfect color and sturdy but had a missing screw that we didn’t realize was long there until I’d had it almost completed so we had to improvise a bit rather than take it all apart.

very sturdy abd exactly as described

I bought it as a present and the new owner just loves it. It was easy to assemble and appears very sturdy. If only the carry bag was big enough for the partly assembles set up but everything so far is wonderful

Great Outdoor Game!

Very easy to put together, very sturdy and won't break easily do to it being made of metal. Great purchase. Very happy with this game. Have already used it with some friends!!
