Good Stuff lasts all summer and all winter outside
I like this, it held up all summer of 22 and through the winter of 23 along the Atlantic coast outside. Not sure how it will be when i try to remove the tape from a porous composite deck. I hope it comes up easy and doesn’t leave a sticky mess.

Would not stay attached to rubber backed rug.
Worked on regular rugs but not strong enough adhesive for rubber backed rugs, would not stay attached.

Liked that it had good adhesion but it is impossible to remove the adhesive after the rug has to be removed because it wore out.

Used outdoors and is holding up
I used this on some cheap outdoor carpet and you need to space the tape 2” apart due to the carpet stretch

4-Season Rug Security
We have approximately a 1000 square foot deck in our high-rise city condo. I've furnished the deck by using outdoor rugs and dividing it into different "living" spaces. The winds get pretty strong here, so after furnishing the deck, we realized we were going to have to secure the rugs somehow. I did a bit of research and chose this Duck Brand outdoor carpet tape. The tape works great. It is relatively easy to put down and, once installed, holds the rugs really well. You apply it to the rug, then peel off a protective skin so you can stick the rug to the flooring surface. It manages to do its job regardless of weather (we have 4 seasons). My only complaint (and hence the 4 stars) is it only lasted about a year and now has to be replaced. I suspect we got this result because we are applying it to 2 foot by 2 foot cement pavers with about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch gap between each tile. I presume the cracks allow more moisture, dirt, dust etc. to get under the tape, hence causing it to eventually loose it's adhesion. My suspicion is this would happen regardless of the brand outdoor carpet tape we use. If you have a solid outdoor surface, you will like get a 5-star result. The Duck Brand worked so well, that we're buying the same product again.

Just right
Bought to hold down rug on steps to our camper totally expected to replace the following spring didn't need to still holding strong for over a year it even works to hold down the "camp" rug to our deck (ones with like a plastic coating)

Sticks well and immediately.
So very sticky. It works well but make sure your rug has had time to flatten and stretch before you tape it down to your carpet. Claims it will leave no glue residue when removed seems highly dubious to me. I like that the tape has plastic on both sides so you can lay it down, remove the plastic and stick it to the rug. Then ensure in the right spot before removing plastic on the other side and sticking down.

adhesive not good
I was worried when I purchased this product to glue the edges of an outdoor indoor carpet on my balcony, it was not mentioned that it would stick to concrete, took a chance, the opposite happened it sticks to the concrete but does not stick very well on the rubber underside of the carpet gofigure he

Din't hold my runner in place for long
I have a runner that likes to travel. Hoped this tape would keep it in place. Worked for a couple months.
