I got this for my mom

It worked great getting my mom from the car to the medical facility. It was easy to put in the trunk. Our only difficulty was that mom is a plus size and she is a little bit bigger than the arms of the chair. When she tried to stand up and get out of the chair, she got stuck, so keep this in mind. I highly recommend this chair cause it worked

Well made for the money

Very easy assembly. Well built for the money it appears, and rolls nice. Has locking brakes for both real wheels that lock solidly and are easily released. Only issue is the seating area is a little small, and although it carries a 250 lb. rating it really doesn't look like it's designed with larger adults in mind. Not a bad compromise to have a wheelchair that can be quickly folded up and placed in a car trunk.

Easy to get through doorways!

This transport chair is easy to fit into the tiniest trunks! The handles fold down, and it doesn’t need any extra cushions. This style has no difficulty getting through doorways, or aisles at any stores, etc, and it is easy to push and move around! My senior rider loves it, and has become able to shop at the Dollar Stores again!

Not for grownups

This transport wheelchair would be good for kids that are slim, trim and light. Not good for full grown adults. Hard to get through an outside doorway without ramps. Can be hard to push on carpet. Easy to fold up and put in the trunk of a car.

Good wheelchair for the price

Consumer beware, you cannot return a wheelchair even if it is not opened. So if you buy this, you are stuck with it. I accidentally bought two wheelchairs. I needed one for a surgery on my foot. The only thing that I did not care for about this wheelchair was all the wheels are the same size. The other chair that I purchased the back wheels were larger which gave it a little bit more. Maneuverability it is a great chair for the price though and if you are looking forward to something to get to the store. It does not have propelling mechanism on the wheels so you would need someone to push you or I use ski pools. It is a good chair for the price but nothing too exciting

The best purchase this year so far. My grandma loves it. This wheelchair is reasonably priced, Lightweight, comes assembled, and folds easily. Only 37lbs and great option for getting grandma around with little hassle.

Great Transport Wheelchair

This is a great transport wheelchair. It folds easily; easy to maneuver/great turning radius; rolls smoothly. It is a little heavy, but the frame is steel after all tho not overly heavy to lift. The brakes are easy to set and release either by hand or by foot. The footrest folds up/down fairly easily and the entire footrest arm is easy to release so it folds backwards flat against the wheelchair side for easier transporting. However, it does not lock in place so they do have a tendency to fall off. When transporting the wheelchair, it is better to remove the footrest arms and bag them separately. (If boarding a plane, put the footrests in a bag and take them on board so it doesn't get lost.) The seat is pretty standard and not really padded, but comfortable enough. However, this is the 17" model so it may be a tighter squeeze for a larger person. The top half of the backrest folds down nicely though it would be nice if there was a pocket on the back of the upper and/or lower backrest...not to store anything while the chair is folded, but it would be nice to have a place to put things such as a towel or other small items while transporting someone.

Threat product for the price.

Got this for the MIL and it has proved useful. Lightweight and sturdy and a really good value as the rental cost almost exceeds the purchase price of this wheelchair.

Folding wheelchair

This wheelchair is ideal for the job it is designed for. Not too heavy to lift into the back of a standard hatchback. Easy to manouvre. A bit of a problem with the front wheels fouling the footrests when going in reverse. Why go in reverse? Pushing my aged father round the supermarket and needing to go back for a missed item and not being to turn round in the narrow aisles. Good value

Transport Wheelchair

This is making our lives easier. My biggest complaint is getting the back rest to lock into place. It is very temperamental and before anyone takes a ride in the chair you must check it several times to ensure it is really and truly locked. Not sure what its issue is but this part is not easy. The rest is easy and fast to set up. The wheel brake is on the rear wheels and is not easily accessible to the person in the chair which could be dangerous if they try to get out of the chair without securing the brakes. It is not the lightest thing for a 65 year old women with bad shoulders to slug around, but I knew that when I ordered it. It is lighter than a standard wheelchair which I could not manage. All things considered it has been a useful item to have purchased and I would buy it again if I ever needed it.

Sturdy & Functional

This chair is very good for it's purpose. It was purchased mainly for indoor transport from apartment to dining room for my mother in her 90's in an assisted living complex. It would work OK too for transport outside from car to building for instance but It would not work too well if it had to be pushed through snow for instance...but that is not it's purpose. It folds down very easily to put in the back of my vehicle. It is a slight bit heavy but I can certainly handle it.

Great chair at an excellent price

So glad I purchased this chair for my elderly mother for times when she needs more than a rollator. Easy to assemble. Folds up or down in two easy steps. The footrests hook on and must be removed each time you want to fold away the chair. Rolling action is smooth. Feels sturdy when pushing but is light enough to lift in and out of my car. Fits the trunk of my Honda Civic with room to spare (unlike some rollators). There are leverage "pedals" near the rear wheels to help get the chair over raised thresholds. The carton it came in had cut-out carrying holes which made it easier to get the 30-pound box home. Only drawbacks: a larger person might find the seat confining; there are no pockets built into the chair and no storage bag was included for the footrests; you have to bend down almost to the ground to manually engage the real-wheel brakes. But those are just minor issues. This chair is perfect for getting quickly from point A to B, and is very reasonably priced.
