The unit is great, even though plastic...which I knew it would be. My only concern is that you say in description on line An added feature built into the shower head is an on / off switch which allows the user a simple way to turn the water flow on or off. but, I have examined every part of the head of the shower and can find NO button or switch to turn water off. Maybe a pic of button and placement, or a description as to where it is exactly?? Nov. 6th 2019 I bought it, and now on Feb 14th 2020 it is broke! Adjusting the head, the part that screws onto spout broke. And of course my return date ended on Jan, 30, 2020. So now i have to go and buy another one and know not to spend money on bad product. it was bad enough when they say there is a switch to turn off water and there is NOT one, then the massage was SOMEWHERE between cone and jet stream, most times wasn't even worth trying to get. I am sorely disappointed. BUT I have to say, this is the first time I have bought from Amazon and had a bad product. Will be looking into what can be done about this....we'll see....

The long cord is very handy, also love that it comes with a bracket so it can be used as a conventional shower. Works great because the hose is long enough to assist someone with a shower, and also to let them assist in rinsing as well. Hose is also long enough to use to wash my dog in the shower. It doesn't seem to have as much water pressure as I would prefer, but maybe that is by design. The shower hose I was using previously seemed almost too strong/harsh for an elderly, infirmed person. I wish these type of shower hoses not only had an adjustment for the pattern of water coming out - but more importantly, the pressure. But evenso, I think this is a good product for the price.

Good for the Price

I like that it provides a higher rate of flow that other units I've had in the past. Only thing I don't like, is that contrary to what the description says, there is NO shutoff or even a "pause" that reduces the water flow. The "switch" it refers to in the description controls the spray pattern, but does NOT offer an off position. I can live with it, but that was one of the reasons I picked this one over the others. I did not install the holder that is included as I have an excellent shower head and do not intend to use this as other than a hand held. It fits nicely into the bracket I have from a previous hand held shower.

Different design

Misleading. The shower head I received is totally different from the one on a picture. I was looking specifically for that design. Disappointed.

Fine product for the price

Fine product for the price. The switch provides a progressive change of spray from steady shower to a pulsating massage spray. All pieces are plastic, but that isn't a problem if it is installed with enough teflon tape and snugged up just right. One star off for the too slick grip. When wet and handled with soapy hands it is hard to grip. I used three thick rubber bands along the handle to provide the grip needed.

Spray pressure

It was extremely easy to install. My wife has disabilities and the length of the hose made it very easy for her to be seated to use.

Not what I was expecting, but it works.

I probably did not read the description properly. It does not have a shut off on the handheld shower head. The hose is just that, a rubber hose not stainless steel which is what it looks like in the pictures. That being said, it is working for me and has great water flow. I purchased the Changing Lifestyles Safe-er-Grip Portable Shower Arm and it works great with it.

disappointing item

After doing some research on different sprayers useful to handicapped individuals I selected this one because of the price and inferred quality. I was very disappointed in that no matter how I assembled it it continues to leak. The defect seems to be in the swivel assemble and I have tried any number of fixes but so far none have worked. If it were leaking anywhere else except in our shower I'd have tried to return it. Maybe this is a one time event but it shouldn't happen at all.

Disappointed!

I was expecting a more powerful shower head. The massage aspect is virtually non existent. No better than a normal shower head.

Item quality seems to be OK. Description regarding flow control is not accurate, however ... there is no on/off function to the switch. The switch toggles between spray options only.
