Overall, I'd buy it again.
I got this chair because as of recently I've had issues with the nerves in my back and legs. Because of this I've put on a bunch of weight, so I sit at 300 now and it still functions fine. It came in a timely manner and is light enough that I can lift it into the car myself if I have to. It does get stuck on small lips or bumps, but otherwise it was really useful. It made it so that I could go to disneyworld with my family without being in unbearable pain or faceplanting because my back decides to go out midway through a step. If you need it for every day use I'd honestly look for something which could deal with doorframes a bit better, but this chair isn't horrible for all the time use either. (I've had to use it since as well, it's very convenient.)

This chair is a God Send!
We got this chair to treat my uncle to a fun day at Disneyland and it did not disappoint! He lives at a nursing home and has is own electric chair, but trying to bring that to Disney was not an option for us. I purchased this one 5 days before our trip and it was delivered 2 days later. The chair was pretty much put together, all I had to do was put on the foot part which was super easy. It was easy for me to push around, and light enough for me to put in and out of my car to transport. He is super excited to have this chair, because sometimes his electric chair will run out of power, so now he will have a back up chair for getting around the home. The quality seems very good, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a wheelchair.

Happy with this sturdy wheelchair
My husband talked me into getting this wheelchair. I did not want...it was admitting my health was changing. However, since we got it....I really like it. The seat is big enough for me, it is easy to push. The arm rest flip back which means I can sit up to the table. It is sturdy chair. Should have listened to my husband earlier....he was correct.

Get what you pay for.
It's decent for the money. I would suggest that if anyone plans using it long term to replace the front wheels with something better. These wheels do not go over lips of 1/2 in or more very well. Almost face planted my blind elderly mother right out of the chair because of done abrupt unsuspecting stops. Replaced front wheels eliminated that .

A Value
I been in wheelchair for over 5 years. I was sick of the heavy one dispensed by Medicare after 2nd spine surgery. Dont want to give up and depend on motorized one. Definitely got a lot of use on old one, but am alone now and the arms broke. It was time for a new one. I really wanted one of the lightweight, highly maneuverable, ones you see athletes, or distance competitors use. I couldn't find one anywhere locally. Not to mention I'm guessing they may be out of my price range. So looked on Amazon and found this. The price was ok since I kept my Medicare benefit for the nice one I want, if they ever pay, and/or I ever find one. It's 41 pounds with legs attached(31without), and love the fact there removable. However, the material they make wheels out of can be slippery, they need more rubber content. Additionally, the legs need both calf pads, and upward motion(besides swingaway), and brakes can pinch hands until your used to them. I have had air pad for years to help with seat comfort, and suggest they are better than gel, foam, or both combined. If anyone know place & price on Amazon I might find lightweight chair with the angled wheels I see athletes use, I would be grateful for the link. I am tired of being in bed or in heavy chair that acts as an anchor around my neck while lost at sea, metaphorically. I would like to be able to use chair for both mobility, and body conditioning. The old hospital models, and even this one, are too rickety and would shake to pieces before you made it a mile.. Thanks

20th century chair ...
Priced right , took WAY too long to get it ! Design needs to be brought up to the 21st century . no place for the cell phone . Arms are not easily removed / replaced ...

New Wheels for Mama
I researched many wheelchairs. Very pleased with this wheelchair and look forward to continuing my healing of knee surgery due to no weight bearing. My only complaint is the leg length needs one more slot but adaptable to my situation. I love it!

Comes assembled!
The box was broken but nothing was missing. I love that it comes assembled and all you have to do is snap the leg rest pieces. The seat and back are heavy duty fabric with some foam filling so you might not need a pillow. The arm rest lift by pushing the plastic piece at the end . Mine cam without instructions and probably fell off the box but it is straight forward. Thank you for making such a a good chair!

Customer Service issue
Purchased the chair and was very pleased until a crack appeared in the resin spoke. Several attempts made for assistance from Drive Customer Service regarding warranty or a dealer for repairs. There has been no reply from Chstomer Service.

Good for inside
I have been using this for a week and I am 200 lbs. It is an 18” seat and a snug fit. The 18” I had from Red Cross was a much larger fit. It rolls very smoothly, tight turning circle, goes through doors well. Does not have nubbed tires so I do not know how it will be on pavement - slip or not. I have had to tighten the tires as they came loose very fast. Otherwise for an indoor chair and one needed to go to the store it is good. I would not recommend it for long term use on long walks.

Good chair, could be better.
Bought for my mother to take along on trips and day-outs. It serves it’s purpose. The swinging out of the leg support makes it very easy to get in and out of the chair. The lifting up of the arm rests is very convenient to sit comfortabley at dining tables. The break mechanism is located at the wheel and is very hard to deploy or release. My mom can’t do it herself. No break or security machanism available to the caregiver who is pushing the chair. My mom has to hold on to the wheel-rail to keep the chair steady, so that I can let go of the chair safely and then I need to walk over to the front to apply the break. This is a major inconvenience and a vulnerability. I have to be very mindful of the leveling of the ground before I can let go of the chair. I wish the breaking and stability locking was available to use by both the user and the caregiver. We feel the need of a cup holder too. I bought a clip on.

very fast arrival
I only gave it 4 stars because I don't like the break handles. I find them very short and close to the chair. I gave my hand a god scratch fist time using it as my hand scraped on the screw that was on the hand rest. I had to put a piece of tape over the screw for protection. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the chair. I used the seat extender which I love. and the fact that I could lower the chair, was a blessing. It rolls nicely.I need to find a comfortable cushion that is not to thick and I will be all set.
