Mixed bits, but not in a bad way.
As others listed, I received 5 non matching bits in my set. However, they were all marked "NAS 907 (drill size) CO". A quick search shows this is a precision twist part number, a USA made cobalt drill bit, of the same 907 alloy as advertised. Tip angle, tip split, and length all meet expectations. The only difference besides the markings, is a smooth black coating within the webbing of these bits, to enhance chip evacuation; only present on the precision twist sourced bits. This confirms to me, my suspicion that Drill America simply buys bulk bits and fills indexs, to resell. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but that does answer the question of the reports of non-matched sets. The bits I was sold are all USA, all 907 cobalt as advertised. There are only a few drill bit manufactures in the US, most sellers of USA drill bits are simply middle men. I expect these to drill as all of my USA made cobalt bits do.

I got exactly what I thought I was gunna get
So, I got these bits because they were the cheapest “made in America” cobalt bits I could find that had good reviews. Most of the drills are Drill America excluding the F, S, and Q Which are Cobalt but made in China. I did not get an R bit in the set just another Q, which luckily one of the Q's is actually Drill America. Now, the only reason I was expecting this was because of the price and reviews form other shoppers. If you check Drill America's website, you’ll see that the manufacturer price is $310.82 for the same set. So, these bits are a lot cheaper on Amazon. But if you want the right stuff, you got to buy it from the manufacturer and not a third party.

Assorted quality. Broke the first bit.
Drilled one 19/64ths hole in grade 8 steel, bit exploded on the second hole . Same moderate speed and pressure. 19/64 is not a tiny bit - 1/64 under 5/16 or 0.297 inches. I should mention at this point that I had stepped up the hole twice - once to remove the area the point would have to plow through, and then stepped up to 1/4" because it was the (wrongly) specified size for my hole - turns out the pins were oversized, larger than 9/32" but smaller than 19/64" and I needed a freely sliding fit. So the bit was only taking 1.5/64" radial chips (0.023"). I should also mention the first two bits were big box home improvement brand titanium coated junk and neither broke (both came out dull and uncoated). I used flood cooling with WD-40 for all 3 drill bits. A couple drill bits are genuinely marked "Drill America" in hard to see laser marking, most of them are unbranded (legibly stamped instead of lasered, with the size and "HSS Co" to indicate high speed steel with Cobalt added). Came in a decent Huot index labeled Made in USA but I'm not so sure about the drill bits themselves. If I could buy single replacement bits it wouldn't be so bad - a pack of a single size costs half of another index. Break two sizes, cheaper to buy another index unless you are doing a run of a specific size hole.

great madevin the USA drill bits so much better then the Chinese stuff
Its refreshing to be able to buy something off Amazon thats made in the USA. Every bit is straight, every bit is sharp, and most of the bits cut a hole that is within .002" of the marked size. On my set, the 1/2 inch bit cut .505 and I got .246 out of the 1/4 inch bit. For 99.9% of you that is perfect, while for me is good enough for government work. I would highly recommend these bits. Even if you have the room for full length bits, get these because very few will ever need the extra length of full size bits and shorter bits are much harder to bend

The quality control was questionable being that they are different drill bits, but they look good.
This is the first set I've ever bought from Drill America, and the first I've ever seen have mixed drill bits that didn't match, so I emailed Drill America to ask, and this was the response: "The D/A series of cobalt drill bits are m42 (8% cobalt). Our drills do not always have our name stamped on them. If we made the set from stock which it sounds like we did sometimes the marking may not all be the same as the bits were made at different times."

Good deal
Good price on a good product

Not what I expected
I have not used these because I want to send them back so I don't know how well they work. However I can tell you that their quality control needs work. One bit had no shank at all and one had a very small shank. The lengths of the bits were all over the place, NOT what I expect from a made in America product.

Good value
These are drills that I'll purchase again. Bought for a Bridgeport mill and they're dimensionally acceptable.
