Excellent cutter!
This cutter gave a very smooth cut in 1/8" aluminum panel for my project! This is a large diameter size, so be cautious of the speed. My drill press was slowed to 700 rpm's. VERY PLEACED WITH THIS PRODUCT. Thanks, from Indianapolis.

Cut quality
From now on this is the only brand I will use for hardened drill bits drilled 3/16 of 304ss

Works great if used properly
Bought this for working with heavy steel, I have cut 3 holes through 1' mild steel and as many through 1/2'. It took some tuning to get the drill press dialed in, but at the proper speed and with some lubricant it does a nice job. On pieces thicker than 1/2 it works best to flip the metal over halfway through the cut to finish from the other side. Looks pretty much new after the 6 holes I've used it for, looking forward to using it on the next job.

Best Cutter, but BEWARE
This is by far the best hole saw I have ever had over the last 50 yrs....the only negative is the quality control...after drilling 1 [ONE!!!!] hole, the set screw fell out...at least the screw had the courtesy to wait until the drill press stopped....so beware to check the set screws before using....I drilled a small relieve on the shaft so the set screw would not just be sitting on a flat area....then max lock tight on both screws....drilled 10+ more holes with 0 [ZERO] problems...that's why it gets a 5 star rating, unlike other hole saws with carbide tips that only manage to get thru a few uses...I am cutting thru 3/8'' plate steel and couldn't be happier....

Heavy duty
The casing is 1/8" thick, 1" depth and heavy duty. Not like the other brand which casing is 1/16 thick. The picture shows shallow depth however it' 1" deep, compatible with Japanese product selling on MSC @ a higher price

Use at low RPMs with plenty of cutting oil.
I was very pleased with the operation of the 2-5/16" carbide tipped hole saw! I had to make 4 holes for the marker side lights on my vintage race car trailer that I'm rebuilding. I used it in an old 1/2" craftsmen hand drill motor. All the holes drilled very smoothly. The pilot drill worked great & didn't let the saw wander. The metal was 14 gauge steel, roughly a little thicker then a 1/16". The hole saw still looks brand new. It was shipped in a plastic protective container along with the Allan wrench for the pilot drill. It was well worth the money! I would recommend this tool! Thanks!

Cut through body steel like a hot knife through butter
Following proper use recommendations to use cutting fluid to cool the tool and operating at a slow speed the tool surpassed all o my expectations and smoothly cut a clean precise hole even using it in a hand held drill. It is the best hole cutting bit I have ever used. I highly recommend this tool and have already purchased additional sizes. I am not a professional in a machine shop I use this at home.

Fast and aggressive drill
Very aggressive hole saw/drill. Used on structural channel iron to pass 3.5” pipe through (3.5” drill size). Final hole does appear to be about a 64th small, but that is easy to correct. Just keep it lubed with cutting fluid.
