A bit thin and flimsy
The spoons are a bit thin and flimsy, although completely functional and useable.

They're excellent medium weight (medium duty) spoons
I've been using the Dixie PTM21 Medium Weight knives, spoons, and forks for several years - mostly for convenience, camping, stirring my morning coffee, and throw-away utensils for a packed lunch. The box of spoons will last me about a year and come at a much better price per spoon than the local grocery store. It should be noted that these are medium duty. They're great for 95% of my uses but medium weight means you're not going to scoop frozen solid ice cream with them. The one thing I like about this particular brand is the plastic is not brittle. They will flex when put to hard task but I've yet to have one snap in half. Likewise with their medium weight forks and knives. If you're looking for plasticware to stir your coffee in the morning, put in the children's lunch boxes, take camping, use for parties, etc... these will serve you quite well.

Light but indestructable.
These seem light weight to me, but only because I have compared them to the Sam's Club billion pack of spoons. That said, these are pretty much indestructible. I literally have twisted one 360 degrees end to end in an attempt to brake it, and it sprung right back like nothing had happened. These are light enough where the weakness is notable when scooping separated almond butter, which is about as heavy as mortar mix. For regular peanut butter, there would not be a problem. For the savings, we will buy them again.

I like them
They are regular plastic spoons. I don't like washing dishes, so I use them daily to eat cereal or feed my son yogurt. They seem like a normal size to me. I wouldn't say they are flimsy; I do, however, worry about them melting when I use them to stir my tea, but they haven't so far and I've used them to stir boiling hot tea several times. For the price and the quality, I would recommend them.

Good for the price.
Good value for the price. Great for stirring coffee, scooping sugar & creamer, and jello etc. Not so good for harder tasks like ice cream. I am happy with the purchase overall.

Great value
Great product for the price point. I just wanted something to keep at work for my employees. They microwave alot of ramen and their forks from the dollar store were melting. These dont belt. They occasionally bend but it's only 1 or 2 in the batch and were about halfway through the box. I would buy again

Flimsy and Small
The spoons I received are flimsy and the short handles feel small in my hand (I have average sized women's hands). They would be great for a child eating soft serve ice cream, but an adult eating firm grocery store ice cream may not like them. They are made of a rubbery-type plastic, versus a hard, brittle-type plastic, so they seem safer for children. They will bend where other hard plastic spoons would shatter (possibly sending sharp pieces into a child's face) even if both spoons have the same thickness. I eat instant oatmeal every morning and I only add enough water to soften the oats but not make my oatmeal soggy. When my oatmeal comes out of the microwave, I let it sit for a few minutes to cool and so the oatmeal becomes somewhat firm. These spoons bend back when I use them to stir my oatmeal. But the seller specifies that this is a medium weight plastic spoon, so I feel it was my own mistake for not knowing that medium weight is not strong enough for most of my purposes. Although I do not like these spoons and I will not order them again, they are not a waste. I can still use them to eat yogurt and other soft foods even though they feel too small for my hands. It will take a while, but I can tough it out because I know I will eventually use them all so I do not lose money on this purchase.
