Excellent rice storage
I have had this for 4 years now. I like that the number of push for the dispenser tray is equal to the number of cups of rice. I don’t need a measuring cup. It’s very easy to use and the design is well thought of.

About what I expected
The price of this rice dispenser is fair only if you compare it to other dispensers that I feel are way overpriced. As a result, it took me a long time to finally pull the trigger when I purchased this. The quality and fit and finish of this dispenser are decent, but there are some minor issues. The sides of the dispenser are a good sheet metal, but the plastic top (not the lid, but the top) doesn't align perfectly on mine. That isn't enough to affect the function. The color of the plastic and metal parts do match each other very well, but it's a bisque color that was in style 30 years ago. All of the parts are a heavy gauge and should last if it isn't abused. Dispensing rice is simple enough, one press is "one cup of rice". It is a 6-oz cup that matches the cup that comes with most rice cookers. I've never had any issues with jamming or inconsistent dispensing. I always hold the button until I can't hear any more rice dropping and I after I release the button I wait until I can't hear any more rice dropping, all of which takes about 4-5 seconds per cup. For however many "cups" of rice that I dispense, I can fill my cheap one-button rice cooker to the corresponding line with cold water and get perfect rice every time. The plastic rice drawer generates a lot of static so a few grains of rice will stick after dumping it in the cooker. Any attempts to get those last bits out into your rice cooker makes a mess, so I just leave them in the drawer. I don't know if it's because of this or due to the rice maker's design that some amount of rice accumulates over time in the bottom of the dispenser, but it isn't excessive; I just have to clean it out every 50 lbs. of dispensed rice. It isn't air tight, but that isn't only due to the loose fitting lid that sits on top. The dispensing mechanism isn't air tight either. If you have pantry moths, no push-button dispenser is going to keep them out. The dispenser is 18" tall. If you plan on putting this on your counter, measure how much clearance you have carefully; although 18" of clearance is standard, some of my upper cabinets are only 17-3/4" over the counter which isn't enough. This might be as good or better than other rice dispensers, but that doesn't make it great. An inexpensive airtight container and a 6-oz static-free (metal) scoop would be a better alternative for most people.

Great product with a few flaws (but I still like it!)
This product advertises a perfect cup each time. To make sure I wasn't in the wrong, I checked the instruction manual. This product does not dispense a cup of rice each time (I compared in grams with the manual, which it did not dispense properly). However, this product dispenses almost perfectly 2/3rds of a cup! This being said, I have written my measurements and that problem was solved. However, I will have to remove a star due to a faulty product. On the other hand, the product accurately dispenses an incorrect amount, so at least I was able to do some math to solve this problem. The other issue I had was that at the top, there is no actual seal. This product is literally just a piece of plastic laying on another piece of plastic. It seems to stay fresh and does well enough, but I really wish it had a true seal like it does at the bottom (where it dispenses the rice). For this, I had to take off yet another star. However, the large capacity and ease of use had me still liking the product. I do really like it despite its flaws and have decided to keep it after all this time. My only other complaint is that the product's dispense tray doesn't always grab the rice, so the empty part of the bottom compartment has loose rice which should be cleaned up every so often. This is such a minor issue though that it's not even worth knocking a star off. It's just a minor inconvenience. PROS: >Dispenses the same amount each time, even if it's not the correct amount per instructions >Easy to use (pour rice in, press button, rice falls in tray) >Rectangular space saving design >Isn't beautiful but looks good enough to still keep out in the open >Bottom tray is very spacious for small or large amounts of rice >Storage compartment holds up to 26-lbs of rice, which should be plenty of storage for most people >Rice appears to stay fresh for long periods of time CONS: >Not an accurate cup >No true seal at the storage's lid >Small amounts of rice miss tray (but we're talking a few grains each time, not too many) If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll try my best to answer.

An almost perfect rice dispenser.
I've been using this rice dispenser for about a month now, and I'll confidently say that's it's almost perfect. I used to transfer my jasmine rice from a 25 lb bag to a two litre spring top glass jar, usually a couple of times a week, it was not an elegant solution. This is an elegant solution, it's well built, the little wheels on the back are great for pulling it out to fill it and it works flawlessly. Now for the "almost perfect" part: The dispenser does not dispense accurate measures, two press should yield two rice cooker measuring cups full, it doesn't, 3 presses will get two cups and a bit. I do note that there is a lot of static cling to the plastic, and it may work better with short grain rice, but for jasmine rice, not close. This is however not a hassle, the dispense drawer is very large and I just store the rice cooker measuring cup in the drawer along with a ceramic spoon so I can get an easy accurate measure. If you want one press accuracy, get a Tiger, but this works fine for me. This is a great rice dispenser regardless, I would buy it agin, and I am very satisfied. Recommended!

Great size, dispenses rice well, not airtight
Overall good deal. I needed a large rice dispenser because scooping out of a giant bag of rice was getting ridiculous. I don’t know if the amount of rice dispensed actually equals a cup since I don’t measure my rice and water. I would say the only downside is this is not airtight. Unfortunately pantry moths found their way in so I’ll have to wait to make sure all the moths are gone from my house before filling it again.

Rice falls out while dispensing. Top lid doesnt snap on just sits on top. Poorly made with cheap materials.
