Not airtight.
For a family breakfast, it will do. Long term its not exactly reasonable. As subjected it is not air tight. There is an opening on the lever you press to open front to pour; which makes sense to let in air when pouring but not when its just sitting. There is no stopper; if tilted the other way, you still will have a pour even when not pressing button. At best I can see this being used for a family breakfast just to have something on hand to easily dispense then cleaned after use. Which speaking of, cleaning is pretty straightforward and easy to do unless you get something on the o-rings..kinda (see below). Personally I have not experienced a leak, then again, I check the two o-rings between the plastic parts. Seems obvious to do, but few actually check. Durability hasnt been an issue but there is one thing that needs to be said, which isnt exactly general knowledge. DO NOT CLEAN WITH HARSH CHEMICALS; soap and water is enough. Acrylic is one of the few materials people seems to mess up way too often because they treat it like glass. There are specific cleaners for acrylic but the most commonly misused "cleaner" people use on it is rubbing alcohol. Isoprophyl, acetone, and other alchol bases will cause acylic to rapidly deteriorate and crack. This is not acrylic, but the plastic is a higher quality one and the lesson is the same.

Does the job but syrup gets stuck and becomes hard to open
Title says it all. Thin but it's plastic so no fear of it shattering. You can also microwave with it so no cold syrup! But syrupy gets caught at the top where it pours out. If you try to wipe using a napkin, it of course breaks off on it. After a while, the syrup becomes a sticky mess making it difficult to open but no one said becoming a thumb-wrestling champ was easy.

Weird 3-piece and wierd nozzle
Not sure why this is in 3 pieces, I think maybe they think it's easier to clean, but its not difficult as it i,s, but the middle gasket gets lost and also deformed with every cleaning, and if you don't seal it just right it leaks out the middle. Also the nozzle is real funky, not sure why they couldn't make one that actually closes all the way, then the mechanism of it is just poor quality, and you feel like you're breaking it to get it to open.

Very happy with this dispenser
We use this dispenser for honey and it works perfectly. The top comes off for filling and the bottom also comes off for through washing. We've been using it for several weeks and we haven't experienced any leaking from any seams as mentioned in other reviews. The spout becomes a bit sticky after using it a few times but that's totally expected because of the nature of syrup/honey. Nothing that a quick wipe can't take care off or just wait it out until it's empty and wash the whole thing. We just wish it was a bit bigger so we don't have to refill as often.

Warms and serves good. Don't leave syrup in bottle it is not airtight and syrup will turn to sugar

Dollar store / poor quality at a much higher price
If you’re using this for anything sticky (or: honey or syrup) you’d better keep plenty of paper towels and rags nearby, this thing leaks like crazy from the spout, leaving a mess wherever you wet it down. Also the cheap o-ring that is intended to seal the top and bottom sections fell apart within the first week of using, although was still useable albeit loose. NOT recommended, very poor / dollar store quality for a much higher price. Unfortunately I waited past the 30 day Amazon return policy so have wasted my money, regret buying. Don’t make the same mistake I did

Great for maple syrup
It comes apart for ease of cleaning. Also can be used in the microwave to warm the syrup.
