Disco da golf DGA Signature Line Blowfly I

Brand:DGA

3.5/5

Ottimo disco galleggiante. Passa in piano. Presa estrema. Putt affidabile e disco di avvicinamento.

Great putter
I own this putter and the gumbputt. This disc is a little stiffer than the gumbputt but much more tacky/grippier(not a word, I guess, but you get what I'm saying.)These are love/ hate discs. They are very good fliers but they throw a bit different than a standard putter. It plays with your mind a little because it feels floppy. I use this disc as a putt approach when I'm some what far of the chains. If I'm within 25' I'll use the gumbputt. So this is how these are.... They do have some swirling or mixing of colors on top, i don't think its a defect, just how they are. They are not a single solid color. Everyone I've seen has been purple but they may have other colors. The disc feel more like rubber then a plastic. They really stick to the chains if they hit, which is why I love them. When they are clean they are really, really grippy. Once they slide in the dirt they start to lose some of the tacky feel. Bring a towel and wipe it clean and bam, its sticky again. This is the second softest putter I'm aware of only behind the gumbputt. The second feature that makes these soft putters awesome is they stick where they hit. They don't slide to far once they hit the ground, it really helps you go for it and not worry too much of the dreaded over shot with a slide that puts you in a worse position then when you started. As I said these are love/hate discs, some just can't get used to the feel. AS I said, I play with this and the gumbputt in my bag. If I'm playing with someone interested in the soft putters, I usually give them the blowfly to play around with. Done it twice, both people now play with blowflys. So here is my recommendation for those looking. If your new to disc golf, grab one if your interested, you have time to adjust and I think in the long run it'll help your game. If your very experienced, it is going to feel a bit awkward, and you will have to decide to practice with it. It will probably add a few strokes to your play while you adjust, but in the long run, you'll get them back and then some. I still have a hard putter in my bag, but I haven't touched it in a while. I'll see about getting some picks of its flexyness(another fake word, boom!) when I can. Hope this helps, have fun.

Not a putter
Not so much a putter as a multi purpose practice/specialty disc. Don’t put with it. It’s so lite and floppy that a modern basket with three sets of chains will spit this thing out. It works best as a specialty approach disc when the preferred landing spot is on a hill or slope. The fact that the disc is so floppy and absorbs energy means that you can throw it and expect it it to lose most of its energy on impact. Less chance of it rolling down hill or away from the basket. I also like to take it on walks with me and use it as a practice throwing discs. It’s fly’s great with predictable fade and it’s a good catch disc too. I have a DG partner and we like to throw it back and forth to each other as we walk between holes.

Can't imagine a better putter!
This is my third purchase of this fantastic putter. I gave the first two away to friends who were so taken by it I knew they wanted one. This putter really holds a line and grabs any metal. I can fire it 150 feet dead straight with no problem. It works well in wind, doesn't careen far off trees, does not skip, rarely rolls, so for longer distance shots aim it to land at the chains, not beyond. The only problem I have with it is sometimes my release is late due to my grip or something and it goes dead straight about 10-20 degrees to the right of where I intended it to go (RHBH). It's my grip, not a fault of the disc. Also love the color and it looks brand new like it's been your old favorite for years, great aged effect!

Couldn’t figure out how to use.
This putter is not to me. At all. Way to squishy and I love squishy discs. It just flips when you throw it or I don’t understand how. Either way.. not for me. But it’s good quality.

A must have utility disc for tricky shots
This disc is great for making approach shots with the basket set high on a mound. Whereas any other disc might flip on its side and roll 50 feet in the wrong direction, this disc's rubber will take all the momentum out of the shot and stick the landing where you place it. The disc is also good over water, as the low density of the rubber makes the disc float for easy retrieval.

A+ Great Putter
THE best putter in disc golf! Doubles as a great disk to play catch with as it is not hard on the hands and you can actually throw it 50-75 yards. Great disc to have!! The only downfall is it does not hold up great if there are decently strong winds. Otherwise, fantastic!

This disc is USED and ABUSED
This disc is clearly used. Most of the stamp is worn off. The plastic has ripples in it and there is a chunk missing from the rim.

It likes to miss high
This disc is fairly accurate straight on but it really catches air. I liked the Zone FLX over harder putters and thought this disc would be great for some of the same reasons the FLX plastic was great. It seems to lift and catch wind so hard that it’s easy to miss high. I have a hybrid style putt and the contrast between this and other putters makes it difficult to pull out of your bag and be comfortable
