Cute shoe
I immediately loved the 90's vibe of these shoes when I saw them! A lot of reviews said to size down a half size, so I did. I am typically a size 8, but I do wear a 7.5 in converse. I bought a 7.5 in these sandals and they fit great! I have a slightly wide foot, but not enough to warrant wide width shoes, and I have a small bunion on one of my feet. These shoes wear well for me. I don't have any issues with the ankle straps gaping and I have an average size ankle. The ankle straps are also comfortable and do not rub. The footbed is lightly cushioned, and the heel height is comfortable even though it's about a 2 inch heel (minus the platform height). The shoes are slightly back heavy (due to the block heel), so it took me a couple minutes to get used to the way the shoes felt while I walk. Also, the sole is rubber so I feel very stable in these shoes. I'd definitely recommend buying these shoes! Edit: I ordered the brown sandals and wanted to add that the brown ones are overall a little bit larger than the black ones I received: They are a tad longer, higher, and the straps are a tad wider (all between .5cm and .5in). Also, the brown shoes came in a branded shoe box, while the black ones came in a plain box.

Toes get caught
Very cute and super sturdy, but sometimes my toes get caught on the straps and its uncomfortable.

Could’ve been perfect but…
For starters, these shoes do look as described. And they could’ve been comfy, however the straps that go across the toes were all weird widths. For example, the straps by the ball of the foot area was extremely tight, but the straps around the toes were loose. Straps on both shoes varied from the other. I also noticed that the buckle latch wasnt sewn on right and falling off, I decided to order a second pair to see if it got better. They were EXACTLY the same with the same problems, down to the latch falling off. It’s a shame because these could’ve been perfect.

Shoe hurts feet after wearing them for awhile.
I really like the style of this sandal. When they arrived, I tried them on right away and they felt very comfortable, with the exception of the sewn label on the insole of the sandal that irritated the bottom of my foot. I carefully removed the label without damaging the insole. I was elated that they felt good after removing the label. However, when I wore them for a few hours walking around, they became uncomfortable. I am very disappointed. I love the look of this sandal but it seems that the heel could be reinforced in a different way so wearing them wouldn't be uncomfortable after a few hours of wear.

runs big...and a little overpriced
I like the look of these, and maybe they'd be comfortable to wear long term. I'll never know, because they run quite large and there was no way they'd stay on my feet. I think they're also too expensive for the product.

These were cute and not too bulky or heavy…
Sadly, one of my pinky toes was left hanging in the wind due to strap placement. I was very sad to return these!

Beautiful but they didn’t work for me
Honestly, I’m really upset these shoes didn’t fit me properly because I think they’re soooo beautiful and I will be chasing something similar. The deciding factor came down to my pinky toes. The way the horizontal straps are spaced didn’t work because my pinky toe was too short. It would have been hanging because it fell between two straps so it looked awkward. I sized them down too but the design is just not jiving with my feet.

Comfortable
These shoes are comfortable and sturdy. I wore them during Kendrick Lamar's Big Steppers tour concert. I walked some distance, went up and down stairs in these shoes. Danced and jumped during the concert and my feet did not hurt after standing for more than a 2 hour set. These shoes held up! Very comfortable. Upper buckle is kind of loose around my ankles but I managed.
