This was a hard one!

This is not for beginners! There was a lot of mixing of the paints which was a little frustrating but it came out pretty good. I didn't like the color of the sand that came with it so I used another color from a previous painting. I also ad-libbed some of the colors.

for beginners

This is great for beginners or anyone really. I've bought other paint by numbers that were horribly frustrating, and this company is by far the best. I've ordered 3 packs so far and continue to get more. It's not only enjoyable it's absolutely giftable. While it's easy to read, the results are an awesome picture that looks store bought.

Have to mix too many colors

I didn't realize that a good price on a paint by number probably means they send a limited palette and make you mix the rest. Look for a product that provides with you all the colors you will need. If you are forced to mix, you end up spread out all over the canvas trying not to waste paint (which will dry out almost immediately), which ruins the joy of painting. I like to work on a section at a time but that ends up with too much waste. I can already tell I'm going to run out of a couple of colors so I'm done. Moving on to a company that REALLY gives you everything you need.

Housebound

Let's face it, sometimes one just has to find new things to do. Because I am a senior and its raining and there is a nasty virus going around, I need something new to do. Paint by number is perfect. I can watch updates on the virus and turn out something cute while staying in. I found a paint by number that my father did, probably in the '60's and PBN has come a long way since then. I have actually framed one of my new hobbies. Stay safe all.

Easy to follow the numbers on the chart

I’m really enjoying doing these paint by numbers. The only issue I have is I ran out of paint and when I tried to order the paint, the website directed me to another company and I couldn’t order the paint. The numbers are different for each kit. There needs to be a way to get refills of the paint!

Great entertainment for some

I love jigsaw puzzles. They keep my wife occupied for hours on end so I can do what I want. She gets so engrossed in the puzzles that she doesn’t miss me for hours. The only downfall is sometimes she gets so engrossed she forgets to cook my dinner!

Brilliant Colors

This was a lot of fun to paint. It took longer than normal as there is a lot of detail on this one. As always, this brand didn’t let me down. I would recommend habit flow improver for the paint pods as the consistency isn’t always great.

Love Dimensions

Have not painted it yet. I checked paint and brush is new. The board is an original dimensions paint board. I'm excited I haven't painted this picture yet! I have painted over 20 dimensions paint by numbers.. love them

Lovely picture

Bought for my mum to keep her busy during the lockdown she has really enjoyed doing it & the finished result looks great, very colourful, good quality
