Outstanding , maximum micro bubble output.
3x the air compared to an air stone. Highly recommend. Tiny micro bubbles. This really helped to improve conditions in my reef tank help clear up water.

Works like a champ but likely to have a short life.
These 2" air diffusers, made of lime wood are working like champs. Easy to install, just attach to tubing, tubing to your air pump. After two months, I still have full water pressure snd lots of very small bubbles. One is is in my 9 pod Aerogarden, the other is in my 6 gal aquarium. My Aerogarden tomatoes are very happy and growing well with the increased air. I'm using with a Nationsl Geo air pump (now discontinued). The other is in my 6 gal fresh water aquarium. Product is as described but I'm not sure how long it will last. Recently, when cleaning the aquarium one, I noticed that one is starting to deteriorate. The "brand name" writing is almost gone and two opposite sides are very worn/eroded; looks like where the air out take might be seated. Guess that is to be expected with wood submerged in water 24/7. I will decide whether to buy again after the products' full lifespan is determined.. NEW: I read today not to use anything abrasive when cleaning it. I did use a scrub sponge so it's possible I caused some of the deterioration.

Mighty diffuser in a small size
I use this for micro scrubbing on my 250 gallon reef tank. I placed the stone below my return pump I take and it easily fills my entire display with super fine bubbles. Perfect for the job!!!

Decent diffuser...Watch the prices...Buy Low.
These work pretty decent..I used them for years. They last a few months and then you need to replace them. I have seen the prices jump all over the place with these diffusers so watch the prices..when it drops.. get a few. I personally have been buying lime wood diffusers from fleabay that work just as good at a quarter of the price. If you need a diffuser and you need them to be in a fancy pack then this is your ticket..If you don't care about the packaging and the name on it then shop around and you will get a better deal. All that being said and the fact that I did use and buy them from Amazon for a few years, I would recommend these. They produce lots of tiny bubbles that are great for your protein skimmer or even just as a bubble maker in your tank. They last longer than stone diffusers. I hope this review helps someone out there. Be Safe & Happy Shopping!!

Tiny bubbles!!
This shipper (accidentally?) included a cheap plastic bag that the chinese manufacturer must have originally put these in. It is all Chinese except for saying "AquaValue" at the top and there is a diagram of how to use these in an aquarium that is labelled in chinese. The diffuers are now sealed in a nice blister pack in all-english. Why they included the weird all-chinese bag with this is beyond me. Anyway, they work wonderfully. I'm using them to create small bubbles to diffuse CO2 in a planted tank. They make much finer bubbles than my air stones that I was using previously and my CO2 concentration has improved. I can't comment on how well these would work in a protein skimmer. I always used an injection-powered Aqua-C skimmer so I wouldn't have to mess with replacement parts like this all the time. The main downside to these is that wood floats - duh. I hadn't really considered this and these don't come with any suction cups to hold them down, so unless you have suction cups for your air hoses already, you're going to have to buy them or hook the hose under an ornament or rock. I realize that this is the case with all bubblers since they're filled with air, but these are REALLY buoyant.

Best airstones on the market.
These wooden airstones are the best in the market, in my opinion. I've tried quite a few out there around the same price range with very disappointing results. The reason for the 4 star rating is that, I wish they would last longer than they do. I'm using these airstones for a protein skimmer in my saltwater thank, which is located in a sump under the aquarium. I go through about 1 every 3 weeks. But they work Great! Up until 3 weeks. They do they job, and they they do it great for such a good price. For the money, you can't find a more superior brand. I highly recommend these airstones. I will continue to buy this product as long as I need airstones.

These are working out well as replacements for another brand. The sizing is pretty much standard and the bubbles are the right size and volume. Recommended.

Good for small bubbles
This is a very good product for small fine bubbles. Good for small aquariums.

Good airstone
These work great in air driven protein skimmers. I have a reef glass skimmer and some of the other brands don't fit and its hard to get the reef glass air stones, but these fit, and leave enough room for expansion to not damage the skimmer, and they work just as good if not better than the reef glass air stone. No complaints and good value for 2.

Works great but does not last very long
I am sure these are meant to be replaced periodically. However, to increase the longevity, I soak mine in a vinegar solution when they start turning green with algae. The plastic connection pieces tend to fall out but shoving them back in works so far. I want to test something synthetic next, so I do not need to replace it often to maintain results. Works great for the first while.

One works, the other has a large hole in it
I needed two of these. The one that works is great and produces fine bubbles, but the other one has a knot in it, so instead of having fine bubbles all the air comes out of the hole as large bubbles, this is the only place that bubbles come out.
