Decent jacket for now.
It is a decent jacket for now, but after a week of using it, the jacket has a tear. The tear is on the seam with the hood. I noticed it on the second week after buying it. The tear is by the seam between the hood and the rest of the jacket. It's disappointing, but thankfully the jacket keeps me warm.

Great coat - short wasted though
Nice quality coat - very warm and appears pretty durable. Only complaint is it's pretty short wasted...wish it was 2-3 inches longer, and that applies to all sizes - I purchased a number of these in various sizes for our employees.

Very warm, soft. Sizing a little strange.
Let me start by saying I REALLY like this jacket. It is soft and very warm, and the lining not being in the sleeves is not an issue. I think if the Sherpa lining were in the sleeves, it would be hard to get on and off. I have an unlined Carhartt jacket and I like this much more than my Carhartt. The Carhartt is so bulky and stiff it's very uncomfortable and I don't wear it much. This one, though big, is not really bulky and not stiff at all. I only gave 4 stars due to some sizing issues. I am a female and I usually wear a 2x but I ordered a 3x bc I wanted this to be loose. It is not very loose and I am glad I went up a size. It is very tight around my hips when zipped. The sleeves however are really loose. They fall down over my hands even when snapped on the tightest snap, and I have large hands. However, it is so comfortable I don't really care about the sizing issues much. It is not flattering at all, but for a country girl hanging out at bonfires that doesn't matter to me.

Good jacket even if your not tall
Got a long for the first time because they were out of the regular fit. Was a little nervous since I'm not quite 6ft tall. Its not noticably long and I think the extra length will be great for say bending over and getting that nasty draft up your back. The extra sleeve length is more fabric to keep your arms warm. I would buy this again although it seems pretty tough. I do concrete so I shred cloths up pretty fast. Great price for the product. Also.. i think they fixed that giant hood issue because mine isn't big like the ones displayed here.

Coat ripped the 1st time I took it off.
This is the best fitting coat I have ever had, very nice looking, and kept me warm the one time I wore it. Unfortunately it ripped the first time I took it off. It ripped dead center….top of the coat where the hood connects to coat. It ripped vertically…both the hood and the coat.

very close to perfect
very close to perfect. One small manufacturers defect though. One of the stitching lines is not 100% straight, resulting in the zipper rubbing a small hole in some seam beading. I fixed it with a little fishing line and a heavy duty upholstery needle. Spot that rubbed was less than 1cm long, so I only took one star off.

lots of pockets....warm
Jacket fits as expected, nice warm lining. The only thing lining was hanging lower than jacket.....good thing I sew I fixed the mistake.
