Average wear for a cutting blade

I bought this because I needed a couple quickly for a job I had agreed to help with. I got just average wear on the blades on mild steel --- mostly less than 1/8th inch.

Don't last long

Cut three pieces of steel and it would not cut anymore. Put the old diablo blade from H-Depot back on and it finished the job

Long lasting

In my general area the only supply store is Lowes. They only sell a fiber mesh blade for general purpose from DeWalt. All though it does work on cutting steel it wears very rapidly. Using this blade was like night and day. My estimate is that I was able to get 3 more times the cuts with this over the general purpose blade.

Really need to open this.

Still have not opened this and I have had it for 9 months or so really need to open it but I presume it is perfectly fine inside its nice little form fitting cardboard. Reason for not opening it was a girl who stepped out of my life for half a year came back and I decided to claim her as mine before the world could do anything else to her... This is for a metal cutting saw that is also unopened from the same period and will be used in making a go kart that I have been collecting parts for over the past 3 years. My life is really falling behind me and it scares me. But this blade will hopefully be instrumental in me getting things on track by cutting 3/4 inch steel square tubing for a go kart. It will be used on a porter cable 15 amp chop saw 14".

very well built did not fall apart while being used

I cut through a well casing pipe that was 6 inches outside messurement cast iron, with a 2 inch inner galvanised pipe and a half inch pump rod pipe. Took less than 15 minutes. Well casing pipe was 1/4 inch thick. Would highly recommend this cutting wheel.

Great for the price, worked well

I had a handful of 1/4” steel shelf brackets to cut. This did exactly what I needed for a low price. I was surprised it came in a padded envelope and wasn’t cracked! Cut straight. Did leave burrs, but I expected that. Nothing the bench grinder couldn’t clean up. I bought 2 more for future jobs. The blade was spent after this job.

Spend a bit more and get a better one!

This is by far the worst chop saw blade I have used. I should have spent more for something else, but I thought I would try the Dewalt since I have a few of their hand tools and they seem to be decent. It would be fine for cutting rebar and doing small jobs I guess, but if you want to do any serious fabrication buy something else. This thing barely makes it through 1" square tubing. Waste of money.

Arrived on time blade works very well

Recv’d disks on time and in good shape. They fit my chop saw as they should. I have not tried to cut with them yet but have no doubt they will perform as they should. Just used one blade and it cut very well.
