Just stunning!

I hesitated to buy this due to some of the reviews, but this sculpture really was calling me. I ordered by LARGE one andI haven't decided on a location yet, because she deserves to be seen. Once I do, I will post a photo. How does one describe exquisite?

Need to work on polishing more before sale.

Love it but need to used steel wool and acetone to wash off the dark color off to expose and then polish bronze. Now that it’s done looks stunning on my front yard.

The actual sculpture is cute but the finishing paint is very sloppy.

It's too bad that there seems to be a rush to send this cute Fairy out before cleaning and buffing the finish. Just 20 minutes and the plaster, paint and various splatters could have been avoided. When I received the bronze sculpture I was surprised that it needed cleaning and finishing work to look presentable. It's not as shown in the advertisement, and I'm sure this is not intended by the company as a part of the style. I hope there are some changes to the quality control at the manufacturing facility, since I really believe that Design Toscano, being in business for so long, intends to continue to offer great products at an expected standard of quality to their fans. This would be a return, most likely. I am into art a DIY so I'll take some time to freshen her up and address the issues with the dark paint strokes and the faux oxidation patina splatters and drip marks, and the caked on plaster remaining encrusted in the cracks. I've started to test the finish and the plaster that is caked in the corners and it seems that it can be cleaned. I was really looking forward to this cute fairy's arrival and will take the time to try to correct the finish myself. Most people wouldn't attempt this, and shouldn't. I have loved everything I have had the opportunity to order from this company and this is the first time I've been disappointed in the quality. This is a more expensive piece, which makes it even more disappointing to customers when they don't get a finished piece. Crossing fingers that things improve. She's very cute, the base metal is good, as they say but the finishing could be much better.

Heavy

This is heavier than I was expecting but well made. The weight helps it stay where I placed it. It is very attractive in my garden. So far it is holding up well to the elements.

Has blotchy patches

Covered in splotchy patches and poorly finished. Quality is low. Doesn't look like it will last outdoors.
