Worst Customer Service, Ever!

After installing a brand new tub filler, it was discovered immediately that it leaked. I tried multiple times to call the posted Delta support line only to get a recorded message saying there was a minimum 2 hour hold time. I then went on Delta’s site and uploaded pictures and described the problem. Their first response was to request all of the information that I uploaded all over again. After doing so I got an email back saying they were sending me parts and that I had to install to fix the problem. I’m not a plumber and now it will cost me to hire one. Also, I noticed that they were sending the parts to my old address in a different state, even though I registered all of my new Delta parts plus listed my current address on responses to all the emails I’ve received for this case. Finally, the latest response: “ Unfortunately we would not replace your entire trim due to a drip. There are repair parts that needs to be replaced to resolve this situation. If you are able to return the trim then that would be great, please know parts due wear out due to hard water and normal wear and tear.” This item is brand new. we haven’t used it yet. It leaked immediately after installation. Stay away from Delta. There are better companies out there!
