Excellent in Every Way

Delta Faucets are consistently highly rated, with plenty of good reason. This is from a recent in depth study of faucets sold in the U.S. "It is almost impossible to go wrong buying a Delta faucet. If there is a better faucet made for the price anywhere in the world, we have yet to find it. The finish, cartridge, and water channel Technology used in Delta faucets is unmatched by other faucets in the same price range. In fact, cartridges equal to Delta's super-cartridge with Diamond Seal Technology® are not available from other companies at any price. That's a strong statement to make when you are comparing Delta against companies like Moen, American Standard and Pfister, to name a few. Delta consistently improves their products, while remaining competitive in the $100 to $500 price range of faucets. This Stryke Widespread Bathroom Faucet from Delta is a prime example of why they continue to be placed at the top of the list of best faucet for the money. Solid construction with quality materials, a lifetime warranty, and if you have a problem, they actually answer the phone and make it right. Not just on occasion, but year after year. This faucet is known as a "wide spread". Meaning, for this faucet, the handles can be placed anywhere from 4" to 16" apart, with the faucet centered in between the handles. It will fit almost all 3 hole vanity tops without any modification, or can be placed where desired when mounting holes are not drilled already. This is on the higher end of the Delta price range, and sells for $448.84 (as of this review). For many DIY home re-modelers, it may be priced higher then what was budgeted, but the added expense is more then justified for a faucet that will most likely last longer then the owner may be in the home. Under normal wear and tear, this faucet will keep the great looking matte black finish for years, and still look new years down the road. The parts underneath will continue to work smoothly for just as long. Although you may feel that the price isn't justified, when you look at how it's still looking new, and working like it was just installed ten years later, you'll realize why it was well worth the money. I've installed quite a few delta faucets over the past 50 years, but this is the best built, highest quality to date I've installed. It won't fail, and if by some small chance it does, feel confident you won't be stuck in the cold. Delta stands behind all they sell. A great piece of plumbing you will not be disappointed with should you decide to take one home. Excellent buy.

Another Quality Faucet from Delta, But There are Better Designs

First of all, I love, love the matte black finish on this faucet, as gives a novelty and elegance that can't be stated on a shiny chrome finish. It also makes it SO much easier to wipe down and clean. Whereas before I had to clean the chrome one every few days, sometimes I forget with this one and it still looks great after weeks of water stains - you just simply don't notice them from simple glances, and have to really get in close to spot them. The metal is thick and sturdy, and the feel of turning the handles have heft and traction, which I prefer over something that's too loosy goosy. However, I just can't be 100% happy with it, just always something tugging at me. While I do like the angles and overall angular design, it just doesn't capture that hard edge flair such as the Trillian series. Delta makes their faucets that cost over $300 with the highest quality, and I have enough of them now that I can wholeheartedly say that, so if you're going to spend $450-$500 on a faucet, I suggest you do your research and browse all the available Delta faucets, as there are many different styles for your liking.

Oh my this finish on this is to die for! So proud to own!!!

I am so flipping proud of my faucet and just love the beautiful eggshell type finish, it has the slightest of texture in the black matt. I just stare at it. I don't think you'll ever find anything else as gorgeous for your farmhouse or ranch-style homes. Looks too cool with my painted beadboard cabinets. I love love love this and so smooth and fun to use. The plumber was installed but truthfully I feel any DIY could easily install it is straightforward with good instructions and not complicated. Premium excellent and so thankful to own!

Elegant Design and Excellent Performance.

This 3 prong cross handle design is very unique in modern fixtures and hails back to more historic fixtures. I really like the classic and timeless look. This fixture pairs well with many different design styles from Shaker and Craftsman to Farmhouse and even Modern. The finish is uniform and flawless. It is easy to keep clean with a simple wipe down with a damp cloth then a dry buffing. The "diamond" valve make the operations silky smooth and quiet. A top tier fixture from Delta. 5 stars for high end quality and great looks.

Very good quality. Very expensive.

I didn't want to risk a bad install so I had our handyman install this for about $90 (I have zero plumbing experience). I can't say much about the install other than it took less than an hour and he kept talking about how good Delta faucets are lol. Pros: -Feels and looks very high-end. -The knobs twist very smoothly. -Water control is accurate. -Good quality hardware. -The faucet arcs high so you can fit pretty large objects in the sink if you need to. Cons: -The knobs have a lot of angles to clean. Not too big of a deal for the stylish looks but it can be bothersome when you get a lot of people or kids using it. -It's very expensive at $450. $100-200 can buy a faucet comparable in quality and style. I'm sure this model costs more to research and develop but is a faucet really worth $450?

A THING OF BEAUTY

Expensive, yes. But if you plan on loving the look for a long time, it’s a worthy investment. Faucet comes with pop up drain and attached PEX supply tubes and is very easy to install. The first thing you notice is the finish and how great it looks. Very smooth. And then you probably wonder how a black faucet is going to hold up with water spots and the like. Well, so far, so good. Delta claims to use a PVD finish which is what is used on car wheels. It’s very durable and easy to clean in that application. The handles move smoothly and have subtle labels for hot and cold. The design is very elegant and timeless in my opinion. So far it’s a very impressive faucet.
