H2O Kinetic is awesome, replace that crappy apartment showerhead with this!

The H2O kinectic setting is by far the best option on this shower head. As an apartment dweller - the first thing is to replace that crappy showerhead! This unit does the trick. It provides great water throw and is easy to clean. As another reviewer pointed out, having more H2O kinetic settings would have been a nice addition. But this functions as a simple replacement for cheaper mass produced shower heads. The standard rain can and the H2O spray are my preferred options. An even better idea would be rain can + H2O kinentic. But maybe a more expensive model has that kind of setting. Bottom line: solid buy to replace that crappy apartment showerhead

Pricey, but good quality.

Overall, this is a good shower unit with nice build quality and appealing finish. The button works fairly well, although some of the modes don't seem to have much use or offer great variety. Also, keep in mind this is a low-flow unit and it may not provide the pressure you're looking for. It's a bit on the smaller side, so if you're looking for more of a 'rain shower' experience, with the low-flow, this also may or may not be what you're looking for. Also, given what it is, it's a bit pricey for what you get.

High qualitiy showerhead with poorly designed sprays

This is a watesrense certified low flow showerhead. It's high quality chrome metal and has no leaks. It has 5 settings that cycle through sequentially by pushing a button located on the showerhead. First setting: traditional shower with 38 fine streams of water, very even and well distributed although because of the design there is no central stream on this setting. A "massage" setting which is pulsating stream, but it is only one central 6 stream jet which is pretty puny compared to other dedicated "massage" showerheads on the market. A "pause" setting which shuts down the shower head, which would be useful if it was a separate switch, but just being in the cycle means you have to cycle through each of the other settings to get to it and then return to your original setting. Terrible. There is a diffuse spray setting using five jets that is too diffuse for my tastes. There is a mixed setting that has both the rain spray and massage jets active but causes both of them to lose too much power to be very effective. Overall, it's a high quality showerhead but I'm not satisfied with the design and engineering of the different sprays.

We both like this showerhead a good deal more than the one it replaced. Installation was quick, easy and obvious. It has several modes from needle to massage and more plus one mode that to us is unique. It can shut almost all the water off so you can lather up without wasting water or having to find a dry spot in your shower stall. The shutoff does not entirely close off water flow but as advertised, it slows the flow to a slight drip. You change modes by pressing a button along the edge of the shower head. The modes, including the shutoff, run in a fixed order. Each of us prefers a particular mode with me going for the needle while my wife is a massage fan. My guess is there’s a mode for everybody’s preference. Our only mild gripe is the shutoff feature. To shut things down, you need to rotate through the modes until you hit shutoff and then rotate back to your shower setting. This head would be vastly improved, IMO, by two controls: one to rotate modes and another to apply a shutoff to the current mode. Also you need decent pressure to get the benefit of many of the modes. Those with water restrictors likely will not receive many benefits from the variety this head offers. To us, this head is the best we’ve ever used and we both find it a delight to take a shower while conserving water but all at full pressure free from the annoyances of restrictors. We both just wish it had the shutoff feature separate from the mode rotation.

Shower head with 5 stages has some flaws, but excellent otherwise

This shower head has a wide face. Probably 6-8 inches in diameter. There are a number of holes for water to spray out and the button switches to various types of combinations and spray sensations. In general they all feel nice, while some are certainly better than others. One stage, for whatever reason, dribbles out, instead of spraying out. While all the other stages seems to spray consistently. One of the stages shoots all 6 from the center in a type of massage, but its such a small area of water, that I am not sure what the intention of having this setting would be. As a guy, I want it to cover my body and keep me warm throughout. The middle shoots like a garden hose, just hitting one spot. So I tend to settle for the setting where all of the thing outer streams come out thin and strong and I feel covered all around with it. Overall recommended for its price and quality. As far as the one stage not having strong pressure, its hard to say if there is any fault with this particular head, or if its a water issue in my house.
