Not realistic, but attractive

This is definitely just a "knick knack"...does not look "real". I didn't look well enough at photos or descriptions...because it is not very realistic. The "wire" is rigid metal and the dial is just bumps. Nothing moves...one solid piece. I looked at price and thought it was a great deal...but frankly kind of disappointed. But it is just to set on an old antique desk, so it will be fine.

Cute phone

Phone looks like a vintage phone but there's no numbers and receiver doesn't come off. I kept it but was alittle disappointed

I love it!

It's a statue

I bought this to use as a prop in a play but you can't lift the receiver. It's welded together so it's not really usable at all. It's just a solid piece.

Can not talk/remove the earpiece.

Bought for a musical 1900. Perfect look, but the wire to the earpiece is HARD METAL and the earpiece is PERMANENTLY WELDED to the hang-up device. I needed to use it and had no time to return it so I had to modify it with a grinder and some rope so my actors could actually use it!!!! Be careful when ordering!!!

Ok for the price

I wish that the wire was moveable and that the rotary turn was absent given the lack of details. It’s ok for the price and to be on display from a distance

Consider well your intended use before buying

I should have read reviews before buying this. If I had, I would not have bought it. As long as you don't get too close, this looks good. Thus, if you use it in a photograph, it could pass (as it does in the Amazon product photo). But, as others have noted, this "phone" does not work. In fact, it is not a non-working replica; it is a metal sculpture. The pieces are metal, and welded together. You will not be able to move any part of it independent of the other parts: it is one solid thing. I mistakenly thought it was a non-working replica phone that I could use in a vintage photoshoot. Not so, unless I just want it to sit on a table or something. To repeat: it is a solid piece; no part of it can be moved by itself, inless maybe you own a hacksaw.

Not fully as it appears

Item is as it appears. Unfortunately what is not clear is the mouthpiece is soldered on and the wireless cord is metal. I made the mistake of assuming the mouthpiece would be free to lift off the holder. Otherwise unit has an antique look to it.
