easy assembly
i just got this walker. the box was a little beat up but the walker was just fine. i couldn't believe how easy this was to assemble. all the difficult parts like the brakes were pre-assembled. the wheels, backrest, and handles just snapped into place. add a hand twist screw fastener in each and you are done. took less than 10 minutes total with no tools needed. hardest job was getting it out of the box because it is packed so tightly. i was afraid it might be flimsy and quickly fall apart, but ut seems to be made of heavy steel. maybe a little too heavy, but that is better than flimsy.

I will Update this review when I am able to use it. The instructions are poor. It came with a pamphlet of instructions in English, French and Spanish. The photo in the instructions is small and dark. The photo is labled and there is a list of components and also a list of the Assembled components. There is NO list of tools needed to Assemble. A screwdriver is needed and is NOT included. There is no infomation as to what kind or size of screwdriver is needed (Phillips I think). The instructions say, "Insert round head screw (J) into frame." The round head screws are already inserted into the frame and cannot be removed without a screwdriver so I cannot attach the wheels. I was not able to assemble the walker. The instructions also do NOT say, "Remove the plastic elements in the legs before inserting the wheels". I spent several seconds trying to insert the wheels which would NOT fit into those plastic parts which, at first, I thought were meant to remain in place as receptacles for the wheels. I tried to call Medline for some clarification of assembly when I noticed that the Medline is NOT available on weekends. My walker was delivered at 7PM EST Friday evening. I cannot call for assistance until Monday morning. In order to assemble this walker I will need a screwdriver which requires a shopping trip. I will have to purchase more than one screwdriver because I do not know what size the screws are. The screws, as mentioned, are screwed into the legs and I cannot remove them without a screwdriver so I cannot take them to the store to match them to a screwdriver. In the past when purchasing items that have required scredrivers, the screwdrivers have often been included. I had planned to use this walker on Monday. I purchased it specifically to go to the Drivers Liscense office. I am incapable of standing in line and need this walker not only to get to the line but to sit on while I wait. Hopefully I will make it there on Tuesday. I cannot rate the walker itself until I can assemble and use it. I will say that it seems well made and sturdy. I will write more after I use it. UPDATE: I finally got this assembled. I was wrong about the screwdriver. You will NOT need a screwdriver. This is a well made and sturdy walker. It might possibly be a little wide which is good for use but as mentioned by at least one other purchaser, it could be too wide for some doors. I have not needed to go through any doors yet. I also have not yet loaded it into my SUV. I can see that I will need to lower my back seat as I am fairly certain there is not enough room in the rear for this walker otherwise. Not a problem for me as I never use the back seat. The possible problems with it's width is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I have a smaller walker that I bought several years ago and it has never felt as stable as this one does. I did find the instructions for assembly less than useful. The instructions would be better if the image of the walker were a good bit larger and a drawn diagram would be more useful that the small, dark photo in which I could barely see details. There should be more little close ups of things such as how the wheels connect. Instead of the small pamphlet, I'd recommend a larger instruction booklet or poster with a drawn diagram, not a tiny dark photo. It was not difficult to assemble but I had several prolems as I just could not figure out exactly how to assemble it without some trial and error. Also, I have not found a clip that holds it together when folded to store it in my car. There may be one but I just have not seen it and it is not displayed in the poor photo. If there is no clip, one should be added or two, one for each side. I expect that I may have some difficulty getting this in and out of my car due to it's size and possible lack of any clip or clips to hold it together.

Exactly as advertised... GREAT!!!!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I am a 63 year old lady with very bad knees. I tore an ACL a year ago. Many years ago I weighed 350 lbs. I had bariatric surgery and lost over half of my weight but began to suffer from a very bad back and neck. I have degenerative cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis which causes Chronic SI joint Pain, add to all that i have Osteoarthritis & Rheumatoid Arthritis. (WOW! Now that I write it, it looks really nasty. Hadn't connected all the dots before this.) Anyway, needless to say all this causes some walking issues so I can't walk far without sitting down because that SI Joint really starts to burn. When I lost all that weight it left me with a lot of excess skin around my hips and thighs so although I weigh less than 200 lbs. my hips, butt and thighs are that of someone weighing far more so I don't fit in the average size walker/rollator. Additionally, my knees should have been replaced over 30 years ago but no doctor was willing to perform the operation until I could get my weight down around 180 so I just have some painful weak bone on bone knee joints. Now I am only 5 ft. 1 in. tall still trying to stand from an average height chair without help it's possible. If the height of the chair is above 20 inches I can slide forward and use that extra chair height to get me stand sooooo.... This walker/rollator is perfect for me. The width between handles is 23.5” and the seat height is 22” from the floor. The brakes are very grippy, they hold the chair very solid so it is easier to push myself up into a standing position. There is a lot of height adjustment in the handle bars. It folds just a flat and easy as any rollator. It's only slightly heavier than the average rollator. It isn't so wide that it does not fit through a normal size door... even a normal bathroom door. The tall wheels make it easy to get over thresholds and rough sidewalks. I don't get nervous walking through the parking lot. It's everything I hoped for. I do have to say I did only gave it a 4 on the maneuverability but then no rollator, no matter it's size, is very maneuverable. Add on to all of these neat things about the chair the fact that it showed up one day early!!!! Talk about a happy camper! I ordered it on Tuesday, it was scheduled to come on Saturday but it show up on Friday!!!! That means I can go with my sister to visit my nephew and his awesome wife and fantastic goofy dog on Saturday.

Good product but received an open box
Update. The second brake has broken and now i cant take it on access a bus. The product is definitely made for a plus size person (wide seat, lots of room, very sturdy) however I was clearly given an open box return. There are multiple damages from being put together and taken apart rather roughly, and the wheels do not move as smoothly as they should for a brand new walker. It's clear this was used then brought back. I won't be sending it back however because it's too exhausting to do so and it still works rather well. Would still recommend however there's a chance you could get a used one, because Amazon loves to send out returns

Great value!
Shopped for a while to find a walker that was sturdy enough for my size, but affordable and decent quality. This definitely is the one! I was able to put it together myself. It holds me comfortable and it’s relatively easy to adjust. I can tell it will be awkward to fold and get through doorways or store in vehicles because it is bulky. But for its main use of getting me safely around…yes!!

The seat is too narrow for a 320 lb person.
The walker is very nice looking and sturdy BUT considering the wieght restriction is 400 LDS, the seat should be 8 inches wider. I am5'9" and my daughter is5'11", I wiegh 320 and she's 310. I have severe lymphedema in my legs and can't sit on the seat at all. It's snug and painful. for my daughter. I can't use it at all. Perhaps at some point in the recovery I will be able to.

Sturdy item, at a very good price
Sturdy item, at a very good price! I'm glad I bought this model! Keep in mind that this walker won't fit through some narrow doorways. I find the seating area width comfortable, approx. 21 inches between the handlebars (there are around 2 inches on either side of the 17.5 inch wide seat, between the seat and the sides of the handlebars). Definitely consider "upgrading" to this item for comfort if you have wide hips, even if you are less than 300 pounds. I find the walker works great for me. I don't need to use it at home, only for outdoors and public places.

very reasonable price
This seems to be a very sturdy walker .It is extra wide [which I didn't realize ] but that's okay . It was not hard to put together and it nice looking. It remains to be seen if it is really sturdy so when it is used I will give more feedback. Very nice so far.
