Not so fast with the 5 stars.

The plastic nipples that hold the escutcheons to the stems are about a 1/2 inch shorter than the original brass ones, so hopefully you can reuse yours. One of the originals I replaced was welded to the old escutcheon so I had to find a nylon coupling to connect 2 of the ones in the package. I then had to cut one shorter to make the connection. Just make the plastic ones 1/2 inch longer than the brass originals and let the installer cut them shorter if needed. That might cost a penny apiece.

Works Perfectly

This Kit fits the Gerber tub shower, I reused the original metal threaded nipples instead of the replacement plastic ones. It is valuable to know that if you just want to stop a leaking faucet Lowes sells a rubber washer kit that does the job for 5$, but if you want to replace the handles as well for a new look this kit is the way to go. I also bought a replacement Danco tub spout and overflow cover since they had all turned green and were loosing their crome finish. Also this kit comes with the necessary wrench to remove the stems from the rough valve!!!

I bought it used from Amazon. All parts were in the box. Easy to install. Plus saved over twenty dollars buying used . Thanks amazon
