Great Way to Pass the Time with Friends
Turn-based so you can converse and fart around while other people are taking their turns. Games go quickly so there isn't a huge investment in time... recommend!

Easy to learn, but replay is meh
It's fun for a game night or two. After that, it is what it is. It is fun and for the price, it feels worth it to play 2 or 3 times.

Great game
My son has been wanting this for a while. He had played it with a friend and immediately “fell in love”. It’s easy to learn and understand. My 7 year old even joins in and the whole family plays! Would definitely recommend this game!

Mmm delicious braaaaiiins...
As you've probably noticed there are loads of reviews for Zombie Dice already so I'll try to give you my thoughts on this game as briefly as possible. What we have here is an extremely quick and easy dice based filler game for 2+ players with a strong "push your luck" mechanic. The object of the game is to be the first player (or zombie) to eat 13 brains by rolling the dice (or victims) and collecting as many brains as possible without getting shot and killed. When to stop rolling and cut your losses before passing to the next player is up to you. So as you may have guessed the main components of this game are the dice and I'm glad to say that all 13 are excellent quality (6 green, 4 yellow and 3 red all representing varying degrees of difficulty), also the plastic container is solid which is good because you'll constantly be shaking it and shoving your hand in to draw more dice. The positives; 1. Zombie Dice plays very quickly and the rules are simple and to the point. 2. The components are basic but very well produced, the size is perfect aswell and will fit easily in a bag or pocket. 3. Zombie Dice is the definition of a good filler game, because of its fast pace and easy rules you'll be able to play a couple of games in just a few minutes and it will get the players talking and laughing before getting stuck into the next main game. The negatives; 1. The zombie theme is good but feels very pasted on - this game could literally have any theme and play exactly the same. Shame on you Steve Jackson for jumping on the zombie bandwagon just for the sake of it. So overall I would recommend Zombie Dice if you want a fun and fast filler game with good replay value and at a reasonable price too.

Simple, compact, fun
Great little game, takes minutes to learn, can be played with many people, and it's just a great laugh. Buy it!

Dice games have never been so intense!
This might not seem like much for the price because it's basically a container with 13 dice. But trust me, as a life long gamer, you'll play this often and will never look back. It's not a long game and a great filler in between big games. It can be quite intense as well. The size is easy enough to travel with and definitely a game you should carry with you if you are hanging around game players. You're looking to score 13 points before anyone else by pulling out 3 random dice and trying to score brains. After a roll, you can bank you brains, or take another turn, but you always roll 3 dice so you'd put brains to one side, reroll the feet, but also put the shotgun hits to one side as well.. 3 of those and you lose any points you could have banked this turn. There are green, yellow and red coloured dice, green has 3 brains on it, yellow 2 and red one. The shotgun hits you're trying to avoid, well the red having 3 on it, you're closer to losing your points. So obviously, you don't want to pull red dice as there's a huge risk of rolling what you don't want. I am one of two people in my circle that have gotten all 13 points on the first turn. A very very proud thing to do, but VERY difficult. You have to hold your nerve and not cavein to banking. It can be quite intense. Highly recommended. The only problems I have with it is the cylinder box. Finding a place for it on the game shelf is a nightmare. Also, if it came with a dice bag, that would be great, especially for this price.

Fast, easy and excellent!
Zombie Dice is a wonderful little game where you are a zombie trying to eat as many brains as possible without getting your head blown off by those pesky survivors. You randomly take 3 dice out of the cup and try to roll brains, rerolling any runners and trying to avoid getting shot. You keep any brains and shots rolled. You can continue randomly picking up to 3 dice to keep rolling (pushing your luck at time when all you have left are red dice that mean it is far more likely you will get shot) or stop picking more dice and your turn at any point and mark down how many brains you ate. The game is fast to play and if often over in 5 minutes so it is a great filler to play between games or at the end of a gaming night, or you can just keep having as many games as you like. The game has a fairly low target number of brains to eat before the game ends so we usually increase that to have longer games, but the design and rules are so elegantly simple it is a work of genius. Easily one of my favourite games.

Good fun!!
This is a great ice breaker game. Very easy to learn and play but a bit pricey for what you get. I would recommend buying some additional counters to help keep score. Overall it’s a game of chance with a great theme and minimal tactics but is fun to play and a good laugh!!
