Spendy, but worth it

Great case. Not as pictured however. There is no "Strikemaster" identification on the outside. Looks generic, I saw that in a review before ordering but sent for it anyhow. Otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars. It's very durable. I like to transport my auger in the front seat of my truck on the way to the lake assuring that the starting mechanism will not freeze up during transport. In the past I would use a boat cushion to protect the leather seat, and a carpet remnant to protect the area under the dash. Not any more! I can slide the cased auger right into the truck and not worry about scratching or marring anything. Straps are perfectly located allowing me to easily carry my StrikeMaster auger with one hand. Hex wrench fits easily in the inside pocket. Plenty of room for other small tools as well. Zipper looks to be of good quality. Large teeth-synthetic, and looks like it it will last. Product seems a little spendy, but all in all, I'm glad I got it.

This one's a KEEPER!

It's built tough and heavy to take abuse. Mine came without the STRIKE MASTER external logo, which makes it generically usable for ANY ice auger brand. The tool pouch is small 5 1/4" W x 4 1/2" high; the centered Velcro keeper allows me to insert a spare spark plug that is correctly gaped and also a plug wrench (chainsaw type; head down & screwdriver up). the bag auger area incorporates a stout inner liner made of a material that is intended to take abuse. This is a quality manufactured bag. I'm genuinely impressed!

Fits my Magnum III perfectly

Perfect fit! No longer need to worry about cleaning road salt off my auger when I get home! Much easier on the shanty too! Update 1/17: I originally bought this for my Strike Master Magnum III 8" auger (circa 1981) and it worked outstandingly for that auger. I have recently purchased a new Jiffy Pro 4 Propane (also 8") and it fits a little more snugly on this unit (at the handles, since they are wider than the Magnum). But it still works perfectly! If I take the time to put the auger in the case the same way every time, then it is easy for me to remember which way to set the auger down keeping the 4-stroke power head situated "this side up".

Fits well with extra storage

Bought for husband for Christmas for our new strike master auger from last year to transport it with us. He loves it. Fits perfectly and really likes the extra storage pocket for extra battery.

its really nice to hold in your new auger

its really nice to hold in your new auger,just leave it in the Truck, I bought it for a present and finally went out on the ice(Green Bay)... and the zipper freezes and you cant secure it closed.. what it should have is a better zipper so it wont freeze, when I was out there in the cold ,I went to zip it closed and was faced with a frozen zip and caused one tooth to chip off...after that good luck because there is no fixing it. wow time...wip out the wallet if you want another one.. and I have no way to return it,,,,

Strap broke first time used

Fit my jiffy auger fine, took it out today for the first time this season and the stitching on the strap couldn’t handle the weight when I picked it up and tried to carry it. One, strap gave way making the straps useless. I have a Jiffy lightning so it’s a smaller engine, less weight. Not like I overloaded it.
