Works Well
I buy this brand in several sizes for a family member who bruises and bleeds often. I fasten them to the skin with medical paper tape. These pads don't stick to the wound and they absorb lots of blood. Highly recommend.

Good sized Pad
I like the brand and the product. I have a diabetic sore on my lower leg and I get a bit of drainage and this one works great for me. I definitely recommend you check it out for yourself.

non-stick
They are non-stick, but they can and will stick depending on the wound. My solution, clean the wound, apply antibiotic ointment to the wound or the pad and wrap it. It doesn't stick that way. They are much better than anything else I've used.

Non-Stick Pad
All I can say is we use a non-stick pad when ever posible in our First-Aid Packs.

best of all
For 5 weeks now I've been changing these [almost] daily [together w 2x2 gauze pads atop] on a 1.5" slit on my leg to drain a huge & still wet abscess. I wasn't very worried about actual 'sticking', but wanted to avoid the spread-out drainage mess that gauze pads alone can cause. With one of these [which alone equals/betters a single 8-layer gauze pad] the top&bottom thin layer of non-stick film readily passes seepage through while retention between its layers equals a regular pad; and, best of all, the film seems to keep the wound surface 'appearing clean'. For guidance, I started [& continue] with one of these plus [at 1st] 3 layers of 8-ply sterile pads all covered w an ACE bandage; but as leakage was still getting to & thru 1 layer of the ACE I added a paper towel folded to 4 layers just under the ACE. The 3rd week I dropped the folded towel & used the ace only when leaving home, relying on just the surgical tape at other times [be aware: tapes that hold best can leave adhesive behind on skin, a big problem with daily bandage changes]. Then I dropped 1 pad/week [& pretty much dispensed with the Ace] & when I got down to just this pad I started cutting them in half [the wound slit had shrunk by 1/3] and covering it with a 3"x4" 'Band-Aid' which, for 1 day at least seems to fairly reliably hold everything down. Lastly, if,at the start, if it looks as though healing will take time, politely insist that each medical professional give you a prognosis, outlining what improvements they expect to see & how soon the expect to see them. This will serve 2 purposes, keeping you 'in balance' as the weeks pass and greatly improving your ability to judge the treatment you're receiving & its providers. And For The Love Of Mike, try to avoid "Fast Track" in Emergency Rooms unless you're willing to be a Guinea Pig for beginners, especially in 'Teaching Hospitals'!!

Adhesive strips are handy
Bought for my elderly mum who frequently bumps and tears her skin. Good size for those bigger than a bandaid wounds and the adhesive strips help to secure while bandaging, but aren’t enough to use without added bandage. Quite a thin pad but non stick, so can be used in combination with more padding if needed.

Great for covering burns
I did not know of non-stick pads until I got a somewhat nasty second degree burn on my hand. Now I always keep some stocked. It helps the healing process so much more and is not painful to change(or a lot less painful).

very effective
these are awesome! when you go to a store you pay more for less- so this was a wicked find as my husband has burn wounds that have to be changed twice a day- ive bought two boxs so far and hoping we dont need more but this will forever be my choice for these!
