Sostituire una volta all'anno. Per caffettiere espresso Cuisinox da 9 e 10 tazze. Riduttore di ricambio in acciaio inossidabile per caffettiere espresso Roma, Bella, Milano e Liberta.

Aluminum Handle? Warped, Rusted, Questionable
This also fits the 10-cup Roma pot, for which I bought it as a replacement, because the original accidentally ended up in the trash. (This is inevitable with this thing, eventually, unless you are vigilant and only empty grounds in the sink so that you "see" it, after forgetting you put it in there, when you were a zombie before you had your coffee. OR if someone else washes it and empties it into the trash, having no idea it was in there, which is what, ahem, happened with ours.) Only 3 stars because it was warped and flips up (my first one that came with the Roma wasn't) and it had a tiny rust spot on it, as well as the fact that there is no way on earth the handle part is stainless steel and not aluminum. Firstly, a magnet won't stick to it but will stick to the rest of the reducer, and after only a few uses on our first one, it began to corrode and chip and flake and turn color, looking very shady and funky, whereas the rest of the reducer stayed shiny and spotless with a bright finish, like true stainless. (You can even see in the image that the handle is dull, matte and a different finish, which we are convinced is aluminum.) Even with a somewhat reputable company, it is still made in PRC, so it's always a gamble. We were so concerned about the handle being aluminum, or God forbid, an even worse mystery "mixed metal"--and not wanting that for health reasons, which is why we purchased the Cuisinox Roma, for it's 100% stainess steel claim--and the potential health hazard therein, that we stopped using the divider altogether and making large 10-cup pots of coffee for only two people and wasting coffee as preferential with the stainless only parts, rather than risking the reducer and its mystery handle piece. This led us to investing in the gorgeous and far superior quality Alessi 6 Cup 9090 Espresso Maker, which is entirely made in Italy, and is a much higher grade, 100% cold-pressed stainless steel (not to mention an iconic design that is featured in the NYC Museum of Modern Art), and its reducer handle is shiny just like the rest, and a magnet works on it--rendering it true stainless. So we will use that as our main espresso/coffee maker now, and still keep the workhorse Roma for when we have company, albeit ever in wonderment about the quality of the materials used, and the mystery metal handle of this replacement reducer. Cuisinox--your pots would be a home run if you had them manufactured somewhere with better quality control (that you can oversee much easier), consistent construction, and higher quality materials and manufacturing ethics. People are willing to pay for that, as peace of mind--and having experienced both pots and several brands, it absolutely does make a difference.

So glad to get this part
When my old stove top espresso maker lost this important piece I was so disappointed. I have been using it for over 15 years and it was in great shape just without this piece to hold the espresso grounds down. Was super glad to find you can buy replacements that fit my old espresso maker. I have only used it a handful of times with the new piece so I can't say how well it will hold up, but it is working great!
