Seasons Perfectly

Love these salt and pepper shakers! They dispense evenly and have never clogged. Easy to fill and look nice on the table.

They work well for peppercorns, but require 6 batteries EACH

As grinders, these work well, better than the manual kind you sometimes buy peppercorns in. I have learned not to trust those tempting manual grinders you see in grocery stores that come pre-filled with peppercorns, While they are free, I have had troubles with the mechanism jamming and the housing breaking, more so than with pepper mills I have purchased separately. I did not use either of these for salt, so I cannot speak to that, but they work well for peppercorns. I like to use both black and white pepper in my cooking, so having two of these is handy. Be aware that they do start grinding once you tilt the about halfway over. The grinding mechanism is not too loud, this is nice. I have another major brand electric grinder that's rechargeable, which I prefer, but it is quite loud. The real negative with these is that each grinder requires 6 AAA batteries. Yikes. I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but I would think it would be a good while. Grinding pepper is not like playing with a toy; you only do it briefly, even if several times per day, and I don't imagine each grind draws a lot of power. We'll see. The second thing I find challenging is opening the battery compartment. If you have small hands or are not very strong, you may have a hard time. Thankfully, the compartment for filling with peppercorns is very easy to open.

looks great easy to use but requires 12 batteries!

There is a lot to like about these Gravity Salt and Pepper Spice Mills. They look great and have a slick design and a blue led light. They are also reasonably priced for the quality and brand. But they require batteries to operate and a lot of them! 6 in each, a total of twelve, which is something to consider. I don't assume they will run out fast but it would be annoying when they do, and a bit of a hustle, in the middle of cooking as that is a lot of batteries to have handy. Still, it functions well and upgraded meals, both in cooking and serving and I think it would be a nice gift for a foodie. I hope you find this review helpful!

One handed operation. I love it.

I love these. They are easy to fill and so easy to use. I always hated when I’m cooking and only have one free hand but needed salt and pepper. This allows me to use one hand and get salt and pepper grind easily. When I prepare raw steak and chicken I can use my clean hand and sprinkle right on top. You simply turn it upside down and it starts grinding your salt and pepper. It does it instantly and there is no button or switch to hit. It works really well and looks fantastic. I highly recommend this to any cook.

Oxidou com o sal e gasta muita pilha.

Não gostei. Oxidou muito fácil. Ela é prática, mas não deveria ter oxidado na base tão rápido assim.
