The Closest Shave I've Ever Had

I never thought I would write a review for shaving cream but this stuff impressed me. I have always bought whatever canned shaving cream was on sale at the grocery store in the past. I never noticed a difference and just thought all shaving creams were the same. I have a tough beard and always had stubble in some areas immediately after shaving no matter what razor I used and what direction I went. I have no stubble after using Cremo. My face is smoother and softer than it has ever been. I also has a nice citrus scent. It doesn’t get foamy like the canned shaving creams and that threw me off at first. It is more of a lotion than foam, but it is very slick. I have hard water and wonder if it might foam more in softer water. An almond sized amount that they recommend might work for some people but I need a little more to cover my beard area. I’ll certainly be buying this in the future instead of the canned shaving cream.

Alternative to spackle?

I've been using Cremo for a few years now and it's become a staple in my daily hygiene regimen. This stuff comes out pretty thick and can be applied as is or lathered up in a bowl. I prefer to use it with a tiny amount of water so it still has a lighter consistency. If you fill the sink with water and use that to rinse your razor you'll have a hell of a time getting all the shaving cream off after each stroke. I normally shave while I'm in the shower so it all gets done in one shot. I find it works best when applied as a thin layer of paste. It takes a few times to figure out how much product you need to use and if you're the type that has a five o'clock shadow at noon then I'd suggest starting off with a generous amount of shaving cream. It provides a nice smooth shave, even on the upwards stroke which I use for my neck and jawline. I know some guys like to use a towel to get rid of excess shaving cream while others rinse with water. I've done both methods with this shaving cream and found that this can leave a white film in areas where it wasn't completely wiped off. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and don't check but the benefit is that your face will smell like the fragrance of the shaving cream which is good. The smell is subtle but noticeable if your up close with someone. Rinsing is the preferred method for myself because the moisturizers in the shaving cream tend to make my face a lot more oilier than usual. It does require a thorough rinsing because of how thick it is so have a towel ready when you do that or if you shave in the shower like myself, you don't have to worry about that. The tube doesn't take up a bunch of room in my shower caddy like a can would and it won't rust and look nasty after a few days either so that's a nice plus. Cremo has quite a few good smelling shaving creams and I'd recommend anyone to try them out and see how they work.

I like it but seems too dry out of tube.

Hard to smooth onto face/beard because it is too solid or dry out of tube so must wet fingers again to spread. After that, a great shave with no complaints and suprisingly, the Gillette Sensor Excel blade rinses easily. Would buy again thinking maybe I got a one-off tube.

This is a bomb! (Great Stuff)

This is simply the best shave cream I've ever used in the 45 years that I've been shaving. Not sure what its made of but it allows for a smoother finish and leaves a nice moist beard area after the shave. This is the one for life.....It's almost like some sort of silicone ingredient that moisturizes as it's applied.

Not creamy or foamy

If you're looking for a shaving cream like you get out of a can, forget it. This is not a heavy duty foamy shaving cream, like you get from Gillette. Instead this is a lubricant with very little foam. The lubricants help the shaver glide over your face making for a smooth shave. But because any foam that may form dissappears quickly you may forget where you have or haven't already shaved. For that reason this may not be for everyone. I even tried to make a foamy cream with a shaving brush and that made no difference. By the time I got to my neck which I do last it looked like there was no cream at all. Again, it still worked as a lubricants and shaving my neck was nice and smooth. And I got a nice clean shave with no cuts. But foamy it is not.

Es tan sólo otro producto del montón. No recomendable para pieles sensibles y secas..

Tenía grandes expectativas de esta crema para mi piel sensible ya que vi muy buenas calificaciones, pero me llevé una gran descepción. Decidí hacer la inversión y comprar este producto, pero no es tan bueno como todo el mundo comenta. Tiene un olor cítrico muy jabonoso e intenso el cual no es nada especial al decir verdad; al retirar el producto del rostro deja la piel un poco seca. No previene la irritación después de rasurar, incluso puedo decir que mi piel terminó más irritada al usar este producto. No es malo y probablememte me termine el producto resurando áreas grandes como el pecho, o incluso las piernas para gastar todo rl producto, pero en definitiva no lo recomiendo. Si buscan otras sugerencias les recomiendo probar la Shave Butter de Van Der Hagen, hasta ahora es la mejor crema de afeitar comercial que he probado, pero sigo en busca de otras mejores opciones.

Lubrica muy bien, huele muy mal...

Magnífico producto en verdad hace que la rasurada sea placentera. Lo único que no me agradó fue el olor (en su versión normal, no mentolada)... Al ser distribuido este producto por Amazon desde México, no sería raro que lo tuvieran almacenado por un gran tiempo. Si se considera que no tiene fecha de caducidad, es probable que lleve mucho tiempo almacenado. No obstante que hace un placer de la rasurada, en mi opinión huele muy mal... Ah, olvidaba comentar que no me parece que dure 90 días. Sé que es muy pronto para opinar pero yo no uso la "medida" recomendada de una almendra, más bien de una canica (que es menor), y me parece que el tubo tiene mucho aire y difícilmente durará 90 días.

Excelente relación valor-precio

Esta compra viene con dos cremas de afeitar muy apropiadas y durables. Me gustaron mucho y las volvería a comprar. Llegaron precisamente en la fecha prometida por Amazon para la entrega. Ayudan mucho para una afeitada limpia y cómoda. Muy recomendables.
