Cheap, basic, does the job alright

First off, let me note that this frame must be mounted on the wall. There is no stand attached. However, it does come with 2 hangars already attached for both portrait and landscape orientation. The tabs that keep the back attached are metal and require bending to get the back off. These seem like they would break after just a few times. The corner joints on the frame are visible (unlike the product image here), but they are not tremendously obvious unless you get close. The frame I ordered did arrive with a few dings and scratches and the paint is missing in a few spots on one edge and a corner. The frame is real wood and the cover is glass, not plastic, like in some other cheaper frames. CONCLUSION: Yes, its cheap, both in price and quality, but it is sturdy and accurate to size. If you are looking for a very basic frame for pictures that will not be changed often, then this does the job admirably.

inexpensive, but how do i get the picture fastened?

I purchased this frame to save money compared to the $25 prices for simple picture frames at my local Manhattan big box store, but... There are simple, fragile flat (one-use?!) brads holding the back into the frame. i added a photo that also had a beveled matt that added some thickness and there may be no way to fasten it. I'll wait for the cut on my finger to mend and then try again with only the photo, but it may require micro-surgery, glue, and extreme patience, and then hope it doesn't fall apart on the wall. Trying a staple gun only started to destroy the inexpensive (balsa?) wood frame. Also there is no "table stand-up" on the back holder, only two simple (portrait, landscape) fixtures for mounting.

Great to use for Playbills

I bought this to frame my signed playbill and it worked perfectly! The specifically playbill sized frames were crazy expensive but this frame was the right price and left just enough room to mat it nicely. Just beware - the back is unfinished and I got a splinter while working with the frame!

great look and I can't complain for the price

great look and I can't complain for the price. There were a few places where the paint was missing on some of them (i ordered 3) the finish I guess scrapes off rather easy. They worked fine for what I needed

Works great simple and elegant.

I got 3 of these frames for 3 8x10 Hardback pieces of artwork i recently got. The artwork fit in perfectly, its hard to tell from the description but yes these frames do come with glass aswell and simple hanging hardware.

8 x 10 Craig Photo Frames

I love these frames. I wouldn't exactly say they have a wood grain, but they serve my purposes just perfectly. I had purchased prints from a different source for my kitchen and then mats to go with them, the frames set them off perfectly. They are just the perfect touch for these pictures. And they were easy to use, they arrived within a few days of ordering and were very well packaged and in excellent condition. Again, I love these frames.

Quality Frame

I am pleased with this frame, it is well built and looks great hanging on my wall. Hanging wire was not included, which I was not in need of but for some reasonn I was expecting it to come along, so if you will need hanging wire and you get this frame, you will need to get some elsewhere. Other than that it's a great frame!

Excellent frame for the price

It's very difficult to find frames that are inexpensive. It's even MORE difficult to find frames that are inexpensive AND of decent quality. Fortunately I have found these! I have purchased at least 10 of these "Craig" frames in various sizes so far and am 100% satisfied. I will certainly buy more in the future
