If you are more than a women's size 8-10 this could be very tight

I rated 3 stars because "adult" sized, to me, means it should fit actual adults. This is cut like many costumes--very straight and is sized similarly to (the dreaded) wedding/bridesmaid dresses you get in bridal stores. I am 5'1", 135 lbs, usually wear 8 (sometimes 10) and if I gained 5 pounds this costume would show the bulges and bumps. The material is quite stretchy, so if you don't mind the curves showing, possibly it would fit up to a size 14. It is definitely NOT Plus-sized (I've been plus-sized, so I know). On me it hit the floor and then some (approx. 2-3 inches). I would not pay more than about $15-17 for the costume. I returned it because it was too long for me.

I love the dress in the photo, but unlike the photo, the one I received has gathered cloth around the middle and a v-neck. It fits fine but the gathered material is awkward and unflattering.
