Decent with allot of preparation.

I bought this for a Lugosi Dracula costume. Don't expect to wear this out of the package. You will need to prep this a day or two before you use it. You will have to be very good at ironing as others have mentioned this costume is severely wrinkled and difficult to iron because of the poor materials. My biggest complaint is the lapels on the jacket are Almost wrinkled beyond repair and as of this writing i'm still working on making them passable. I may end up having to glue fabric over them. The fit is accurate the pants are comfortable and work well. The jacket cut is good. As stated before though the material is very thin cheap materia. The fake tuxedo shirt is pretty much useless. I paired mine with a real shirt, vest and bow tie.

This is a decent costume!

I purchased this for a costume for the Rocky Horror Picture show. I am female so of course it is going to fit me differently. I can not use the pants as they are too large, but the jacket will work perfectly, even though it is a bit too large. I am size 10 and ordered the Standard size. I am not sure why some people thought this was so cheesy..it really is not for the price. I have ordered costumes that have been far worse and more expensive. I checked all of the seams and everything seems to be just fine. Once it is steamed, it will look great!!

Don't Waste Your Money

I wasn't expecting much from a $35 tuxedo, but this is horrible. I read the other review that the jacket was thin, but he gave it three stars. The jacket is so thin is is see-through. The lapels are lined with a shiny fabric to look like satin, but the shiny stuff is about half and inch wider than the lapel, so it sticks out and you can see the edges. It's like you just laid a piece of fabric over the jacket. The buttons are glued on, and there was glue on the jacket. The pants are ridiculous. To fit such a wide range, there is a LOT of elastic in the back and so much fabric it looks like you're wearing a diaper. I knew it was a shirt front - not a shirt, but this thing is just silly. It's more like a shirt apron. It has strings to tie it around the neck and at the bottom - and that POS jacket is not going to cover the strings on your neck. The bow tie is hilariously tiny - it's about 2.5" wide, at the most. The cummerbund is also silly. It just ties around you. And I'm pretty sure the knot & extra fabric would stick out of the jacket. I don't expect much from costumes in a bag, but this didn't even meet my low, low expectations. It is essentially unwearable. I honestly don't think the model is really wearing it in the picture. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Got what I expected

Was great for a murder mystery dinner party. Got a few compliments and votes for best costume. Just remember what you want it for. Your not going to get a tux for $27. Fit fine. I'm 5'7' and weigh 180. Pants were long, but I rolled up. Had to steam it as it arrived very wrinkled. Held up through the party and hung for another occasion.

Inexpensive but not good material

The material was too wrinkled and wouldn’t reform - ironing melted the lapels. The shirt was great and worked well. It’s a half shirt and that was fine. The pants fit a size 12 snug. This was the lowest end price and served a purpose as a costume dress up but I wouldn’t wear again.

The costume fit just as expected. I used a steamer to get the wrinkles out and that worked good. the shirt front is a little difficult to keep in place so you definitely need a t shirt under it. It is made of costume material which is light weight, but as one would expect. Overall my friend enjoyed wearing the costume and it was a good buy for the money.

it was a last minute costume and this is literally the ONLY tuxedo costume I could find. it did the job well enough but had a few big-ish issues. the material was almost impossible to iron so the color on the "shirt" and lapels on the coat were very hard to get to look right. The color also sort of overlapped the bow tie in a weird way (it's attached) so my bow tie was a bit crooked / covered by the color flap. A lot of people complain about the thin material but it seemed pretty normal for a costume of this price. I ended up with an under armor shirt under it for warmth walking around halloween night. All in all it was fine for the price but not great.

Wouldn’t recommend

Made very cheaply. It arrived late, and it was all wrinkly - gonna have to deal with it because it cannot be ironed (so says the tag). Definitely not worth the price tag when you can rent a real tux for a few bucks more.
