Fit is accurate, but elastic in upper torso/shoulders very tight

I had to return this suit. The elastic in the upper portion was VERY tight. It was really difficult to put on, and once on caused a lot of discomfort in the shoulder area. Torso measurement was accurate, and it was not tight there. A person with typical "woman hips" (which I don't have!) would probably not be able to get it on. Thankfully, a return was available and I ordered the other suit with narrower straps.

Runs small

I got the TYR Women's Durafast Lite Maxfit Swimsuit for my 11-year-old daughter based on her measurements, but unfortunately, it's a bit small for her. However, the quality of the swimsuit is fantastic. The material is durable and feels like it will last a long time. The design is also very cute and stylish. Overall, while the sizing didn't quite work for us, I would definitely recommend this swimsuit for its quality and design.

A beatiful stretchy swimsuit that's a tad smaller than expected

I like how this swimming suit looks and the texture of the fabric is nice and smooth. This is a tight and slimming swimsuit that feels tighter than what I was expecting. In my experience every swimsuit I’ve owned has stretched out from regular use so while on the restrictive side, this swimsuit by TYR might have more life to it than one that fits more comfortably. What I like about it is how stretchy the material is. If comfort is what you are going for though, I recommend ordering a size up.

Nice Tight Fit but Baggy Material…

My daughter swims on a swim team and goes through so many suits! We were eager to try this one which she will use in practice. She loves the fit and color, it’s a beautiful suit. The materially was a little baggy only in the belly spot which as a swimmer you don’t want to have. She is just getting in this size though and that may be the reason why she has a little extra material. All her other sizes suits don’t give the extra material (different brand) We rated it 4/5 for this reason.

Like the fit

I like this brand and it is nice to see the quality is still there. This fit tight as I expected. There should be little drag. I am not thrilled with the neck line as I like it higher. The double layer cloth felt good and pulls everything in. Great for working out in the pool. Not sure I would use it for racing.

Quality suit

I’ve been wearing “swim team” suits since I was a kid, and now wear them for fitness lap-swimming. This suit looks like it is the typical good TYR quality, looks like it will hold up. I wear a medium in this type of suite and this one fit just as expected. PROS Good quality material, well-made, fits as expected CONS I have none, but there are things a buyer should be aware of regarding fit. If you have never worn a suit of this nature, it is supposed to be a snug fit. It will feel tight when you put it on, but will be comfortable when you swim. AND if you are no longer the lean young swimmer in their heyday (speaking from personal experience now), the way the back is cut somewhat low and the tight nature of the suit straps might not be the flattering fit you were hoping for. But for someone who wants a suit that is made specifically for fitness swimming and will give a streamline profile in the water, this suit is a great choice.

good swimsuit

I've worn TYR suits for years now, and they've always held up well. Fits true to size. I'm going to be diving in this suit during the spring, and I think it's going to be a great practice suit.

Really cool design, my daughter loves it

My daughter is 10 and her style has changed so much in the last year. She used to be so girly, and all of a sudden she wants nothing to do with the cute, girlish swim suits I used to buy her. She loves the more athletic style of this, and I love that it has good coverage that's modest and age appropriate. She's on swim team as well, so this is a good practice suit. She's tall and lanky for 10, zero curves to speak of, and the 26 fits good. A tiny bit of sag in the bottom when wet but not noticeable unless you're really paying attention.
