Big tires.
These things were much bigger than I expected. I spend most of my time on the street so these roll smoother than the stock knobby tires. In spite of the size, they don't seem to be too hard to peddle and I can use the cushioning on the bad streets where I ride. Went on with no problems.

Problems are mostly user error
Complaints about sidewall durability and flat resistance (resistance to flats) is more to with the owner than the tire; These are mostly a road tire, sized for a mountain bike. As such, you simply have to treat them like a road tire. This is my second set of these tires, and when used properly they are excellent, and especially for the money. Yes they are a bit of a monkey to get seated uniformly on the rim, but with patience you can get them near perfect. I suspect that the cause of this is that they are purposely beaded and side-walled flimsy for suppleness/ride comfort. Once you have them balanced evenly on the rim, DO NOT run them low on air and I can almost promise you, flats and other issues will be remedied. I made the mistake of trying to run them soft (the first set) on some trails and quickly found the error in doing so. These ARE NOT a trail tire, but can manage minor off-roading if you use common sense and realize they are a street tire...remember they are "Slicks". Running slicks low air makes no sense at all (unless you're at the local dragstrip!). Once I worked that out for myself after pinching a hole in the sidewall, being a bonehead, the second set will last a very long time, as the first set had countless hours/miles on them before I damaged them. All that said, these wont even fake at an XC tire due to that soft thin sidewall, so if XC is what you have in mind, do yourself a favor and find a sturdier tire. One sharp rock into that sidewall and it's over. Municipal maintained paths...good to go! Road commuting...I can't think of a tire that ever felt better. Even aired-up tight those soft vulnerable sidewalls shine with taking the bite out of your hardtail, and contrary to one person who claimed he didn't understand all the reviews mentioning low rolling resistance...that dude must not be talking about the same tire, or maybe he wasn't fully awake, or maybe just a troll for another brand, as I've spent the past 40 years riding bikes on and off-road, and I know what a sluggish tire feels like, and what a fine roller feels like, and the difference is instantly obvious, and not just with these tires, but ANY comparison between the best knobby vs the cheapest junk slick, the slick will ALWAYS roll better! If that logic doesn't make sense to you, just watch for knobby tires on race cars...you're going to need a bunch of patience, and some pain meds, as you're going to be there a while! These are great cheap tires. Maybe not devoid of a defect here and there...QC isn't going to be as stringent as a tire costing 3x's as much, and that should be for obvious reasons...otherwise you'd be paying a bunch more. Air them up solid, don't down-hill with them, and they are worth every penny! And yes, that IS a Schwinn...cherry pick the big-box better models, bring them straight home and strip all of the low-end garbage off (pretty-much everything BUT the frame) and even with the cost of the bike you basically/mostly just tossed in the trash, you can build a much better bike than you will buy from a bike shop and/or big-ticket direct, for far lower cost. I weigh 280 pounds and have been pounding on this bike for a couple years now, and that frame weighs 4.8 pounds...nearly the same as the RockShox fork I put on it, and the frame takes it. I guess what I'm saying is, you're paying for PRIME anyway, make it work for you...you can build much more bike for the money than you're going to buy. And those tires are a great addition for summer!

Get. These. Tires.
I have an XL Marlin 5 and along with the XR3's it comes with I also have 2 other sets of off-road tires. I wanted a MTB tire that was good on pavement and trails. It doesn't exist. After purchasing Schwalbe Fat Franks and really not liking them, I decided on these. One of my favorite rides I do most often is a 5 mile loop 6-8 times that is 100% roads. I do the loop because I don't like carrying stuff on my bike unless I have to (extra tube, pump), so if I do get a flat I am at most 2.5 miles from home. I can deal with a 3 mile walk. 7/13/21 UPDATE On my 2nd ride with these I ran over a nail and popped tire. Take that how you want to but I find it peculiar I got a flat so fast. Could be just a coincidence but it seems to me that these are not puncture resistant at all. If I get another flat soon I will update and knock it down 1 star. These are everything you'd expect them to be compared to MTB tires: quiet, smooth, fast and cool looking. Instantly makes your 29er look faster and cooler. Super simple putting on. I am rolling on 51psi and it is nice and firm but still allowing the slicks to really touch the road. I ride road bikes too and a 2.2" slick compared to a 1" slick is insane. You get the road tire speed and comfort with the grip of a MTB which is really noticeable around corners. You can feel the edges of the tire digging in and it allows you to speed through corners confidently. I feel like I stumbled upon a monster with these shoes on my Marlin 5. I can get up around 40mph and average around 20. With MTB tires I was maxing out at 32 & 18, respectively. Those extra MPH's are really noticeable to me. Throw in the fact that it is a 29" tire over 2" wide and you still get the off-roading capabilities of a MTB. I am not saying these should be your trail shoes, but if your ride/commute has a bit of off-road stuff you'll be fine. They seem solid but do not have kevlar so we'll see how easy it punctures. Cannot recommend these enough! Ordered 2 and they came in separate huge boxes, not bent up or anything. Most tires I get come balled or in no packaging at all, so that was nice. I will update this if I have any issues. I will also update with mileage when they have seen their last ride. Do yourself a favor and get these shoes! You will not be dissappointed.

Good road tire for mountain bike
Very good tire for longer road rides on mountain bike

Solid daily commute tires
This is a pretty large tire, so be sure your bike can support it. The advantage of a bigger tire like this is that you can really adjust the comfort. Less pressure gives a much smoother ride, while more pressure reduces friction for easier pedaling on longer rides. I'd say really good value for money, and they are holding up really well for me after several long rides.

Good tires for paved road but small rocks feel annoying
My bike came with 29x2.60 off road tires but must of the time I use my bike in the city with paved roads, I decided to use this tires 29x2.20 in order to save my original expensive tires for long weekend off-road rides. This tires have good grip for paved streets but there is an issue for me: " small stones or rocks" get into the grooves that make me feels like the tire is flat, it is annoying. But after several rides you get used to it after a while, if you are like me that don't like the feeling of flat tire the solution is to stop and remove them but several times in one ride it's annoying. On gravel roads you don't feel the stones in the grooves and I can say that so far they have been reliable with about 200 miles of use. Based on that I recommend the tires until now, no flat tires so far and they have demonstrated to me good grip on wet paved roads.

Don't hesitate to buy, awesome tires
Wow, Amazon rarely gets it wrong with their recommended products and these tires are no exception. The rubbers roll real smooth, corner well and are very efficient at absorbing shocks, I feel road bumps and cracks much less on the handle bars than with my stock tires. They are also tough as nails, I have a 4km gravel road on my commute and purposely put them to the test. Although they are 2.2 width tires, I fitted them on my 2.0 width rims easily. If this is the case for you, make sure your bike has the extra clearance for them. Filled them with 60 psi air. I'll be back with a durability update after the summer season is over.

Can recommend this tyre, excellent for Unicycle use
Excellent tyre and super quick fast postage! Very happy!! The only thing is, if I had of bought 3 tyres the postage would have been free, but I didn't realise it. Excellent tyre for unicycles, very smooth, couldn't feel camber, rides really easily on smooth pavement and makes the wheel feel really nimble. Previously had Maxxis Hookworm tyre on the unicycle but this one is easier to ride, I think it's because its a bit lighter. I would recommend and happily buy again!

All around great tire
Rides beautifully. Fast and good control even on trails Update. After three months riding it is still a great tire. It can handle dry trails easily but wet not so good. For that I would recommend a knobbier tire. But with a little experience on road and dry trails it handles great.
