should check you electronic immediately
well it like other electronic thing i bought from Amazon they don't work.I bought this didn't end up needing it sat for a couple months then need it hook it up and it doesn't work I am no stranger to these thing i have been working with electronics for over 30yrs it seems every time i get something like this there is a issue

BEST ADJUSTABLE VOLTAGE DROP ON THE MARKET !
These things are AWESOME ! They display input voltage, and output voltage. keeps voltage to +/- less than .01 volt. and have a load capability of 10 A !!

Very high accuracy economical converter
I have an older bench power supply with a fixed 5 V output, lacking a 3.3 V output. So I needed a buck converter. While looking for the parts to build one, I stumbled upon this little thing. Seriously, I can't build it for this amount of money myself. It doesn't come with any documentation, but there is an easily accessible pot right at the exposed edge of the board, which I figured must be the one to adjust the output voltage - it was. The built-in voltmeter is maybe not as accurate as the ones on my bench, but it gets very close. Also, I didn't get this converter to measure voltages, I got it to get a 3.3 V power supply out of my 5 V supply. And it does that VERY well, with great stability over time (couldn't measure a drift over two days) and under load. This converter itself is rated for up to 10 A, but my bench supply only outputs up to 3 A, so this is all I could test. Not a glitch! All in all, I am a very happy customer!

It works
I used this to regulate voltage on the speedometer gauge of a older truck. The product casement could be a little more durable and protective. Installation was simple and easy to use. Make adjustments before hard mounting.

Works in normal conditions
Display blanked when it got hot. Seams to work under freezing conditions but if it gets to 40C it blanks. Not too concerned because I want it to turn only at 1C (34F) to prevent my batteries from freezing. Has plenty of capacity to handle my heater pads. Selected covered unit to protect from accidental shorting.

None of units purchased up to spec
Bought 5 of these to build 3 LED light panels with. Needed to pull 120 watts (12V * 10A as stated on the product page) but none of the boards could come remotely close without overheating the right (from the side with the grill) mosfet within 10 seconds. After Adding heatsinks + cooling fans to all of the power supplies, I was able to get them to 11V without overheating. The toroid and left mosfet do get hot but the fan seems to be able to cool them enough for stable use. Now, onto the issues I had with these boards: -All of the boards had conductive pads + some sort of hardened silicone adhesive connecting them to the case, meaning they hardly conducted any heat out. This caused overheating over time even at relatively low 70-80W power draw. If you want to use these for more than 50W of draw, I HIGHLY suggest adding heatsinks and a fan. -2 of the boards could not provide 10A of current at 12V and would black out at just past 11V. These were spares, not the boards I was doing thermal testing with. Fortunately I dodged this issue by only needing 11V of output for my boards but this could be a dealbreaker for someone who needs the board to meet spec. -One power supply had a capacitor with one terminal not soldered to the board. Even after correcting all the solder joints this board was incapable of supplying more than 8.5V under load. I had to toss this one. -4 of 5 boards had improperly seated Mosfets, meaning they were cockeyed and had to be corrected before a heatsink could be added. -3 of 5 screw terminals were rusted. -1 of 5 screw terminals had screws that could not screw down a wire (i.e stripped). I highly recommend removing the screw terminals and soldering directly to the board. This was easy to do and removed a potential point of failure. One pre-drilled hole for the box is right underneath the power terminal, increasing the risk of a spark. I advise drilling a hole in the case somewhere else if you want to mount it with a screw. I was going to give these boxes 3 stars but then I noticed they raised the price, and this is not a product whose quality deserves a $20+ price point. I bought them for $11 and it still felt expensive compared to the competitor boards which are between $8-$10, given the fact I couldn't use the cool enclosure which I had rationalized was deserving of the higher price. However if they fixed ALL of their defects then I could see the better reliability warranting the price, but I'm not about to buy more to find out!

works on my chinese atv to prevent bulbs from blowing out due to over voltage
2007 ATV Mfg by Zhejiang Fuxin 107cc (aka 110cc), Imported by Fushin USA, LLC. Brand: Fuxin Model: ATV110 Mfg: 11/2007 I'm using in my chinese ATV to reduce voltage. I created a seperate branch circuit to power lights so they don't burn out. I replaced the stock regulator / rectifier but it had the same problem. Voltage starts at about 13v and within a minute or so climbs as high as 25v! This unit is nice because you see input voltage to it (by default) and can press the button to see out put voltage (don't have to get the voltmeter out every time). ATV important install notes: At high engine rpm vibration is insane! I have to lift my feet off the foot rests / pegs it is so intense so you must... 1. apply medium thread locker to the mounting screws. 2. Hot glue gun the coil or better yet mix and dump a blob of epoxy to ensure it does not rattle loose. 3. reinspect for loose wires - input / output wires. 4. plug in multimeter to output, turn screw clockwise to increase volts to 13.8v (ideal - charge battery but protect bulbs) then HOT GLUE GUN - just a tiny dab to prevent the screw from turning.
